Balkan Hotel Garni

Hotel is located 10 min drive from downtown Belgrade. Getting a cheap taxi is not a problem if you take Lux and Pink taxis (other type of cabs can and will rip you off). When downtown you have planty to do, great restaurants, bars on Sava river, sightseeing in the old Belgrade. Hotel had a nice breakfast, nothing fancy but decent. Good place to stay if you are staying in the city for 3-4 days :-)

Balkan Garni is really a great hotel, with a quality of service beyond expectations. The rooms are really nice and comfortable as well, and the location, although not central, is good as it has easy access to frequent buses that take you to the center. Definitely recommended!

- Good location. One floor up you can find a nice gym. Close to the bus stops that go to the city center; - Awesome staff. Very friendly and helpful; - Room was very spacious with a cool shower; - Good breakfasts with delicious local goodies;

Good value for money, however is very difficult to find the hotel, because its inside a little plaza. and the signage is the not very visable. Good location and friendly & helpful staff

I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. Although the hotel is quite a distance from the city centre (there are excellent transport links however), I found the hotel to be modern and very well presented. The staff were very friendly from the beginning to the end, and nothing was too much hassle for them. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. The rates were very competitive, and there are a few places to eat very close to the hotel.

It was great, nice big rooms, painted in colors that rest the eyes, air- conditioning in every room, clean and fairly big bathroom, internet access, a couch that u can rest, a wardrobe, a hanger, tea and a water heater in every room, TV, fridge.... I loved it...It has everything that I need on my business trips...Plus the breakfast is awsome...A lot of great stuff

Hotel was fantastic large room comfortable clean and very modern in style. staff were friendly helpful and knowledgeable.

Very nice hotel with excellent and very helpful staff. There is a supermarket, fast food and bar right next to the hotel. 10 mins from belgrade centre. Would recommend this hotel to everyone. My flight was in the evening and this staff allowed me a late checkout for free.

Really nice people work here. All speak English. There is a wide choice of things to eat at breakfast; then the hotel is very quiet the rest of the day and night. Free wifi worked very well. My queen size room with terrace was reasonably priced (approx. EUR 30) - I stayed around two weeks as I had business in Belgrade. Allow half an hour on the tram to get to the center of Belgade. There are also several buses. Someone at the desk will explain how Bus Plus cards work or anything else you need to know. The hotel could be hard to find the first time, especially since it is up some stairs in a commercial building (2nd floor for Eurpeans, 3rd floor for Americans). It is right across the street from a McDonald's. There is a Best Western hotel in this area, but this is not it. I will stay here again.
