Seahorse Inn and Cottages

Good place for the money but had roaches coming from light fixtures on last day decided not to extend the stay.

Great location, older beach motel but they've done a nice job keeping it up. Only issue we had was the a/c unit was very noisy would wake us up throughout the night, would stay again!

Overall the visit was nice! The pillows could have been a little better, and the room had minor wear and tear. We would stay there again 🙂

This is not the worst place I’ve ever stayed. And it wouldn’t have been that bad if I’d only been there two nights. It wasn’t even necessarily dirty, but, there was no closet. There was no place to hang anything up. The bathroom had a great big mirror and plenty of light, but the vanity was in the bedroom and the mirror around the vanity did not have good life made it very difficult to do things like putting in contacts and I’ll make up. There’s no towel rack by the vanity so there’s no place to put a hand towel. The room was never cleaned the four nights we were there. You have to walk down to the office to get towels and they’re left out in a cabinet. You check in with the kiosk. I did locate an employee at 10:30 one night because the fire alarm in our room kept going off. He did come down and change the batteries. The area around the building is on site with a broken air conditioner sitting out. Houses are all over the sidewalk so you can wash your feet off, but there are safety hazard the way they’re laid out. It is a convenient location with a small grocery store across the street and a great place to eat breakfast next-door. It’s easy to walk to the beach or go to the pier with a little bit more attention to service. It could actually be a good value.

Nice location and clean room

This is a very old motel that is in very bad need of a renovation and or remodel.

This is a great location to Jeanettes pier. But the cottages could do with a few minor upgrades to make the stay so much better The kitchens could do open concept for their cupboards because every time you open the dish cupboards in the cottage kitchenettes it smells so musty. If the dishes were on above counter open concept shelving it would get more airflow. The hide a bed mattresses could do with replacing. They were uncomfortable. But the regular beds are very comfortable. Like i said great place but in need of a few minor upgrades. The staff was excellent! Location excellent for my needs! Thank you

After waiting 20 minutes due to the check in kiosk not working I received keys for the an occupied and walked into two people sleeping.

We like the quaint, beachy feel of the hotel, and the views from the 2nd and 3rd floor deck of the ocean. It's very walkable to Jennettes pier, stores and restaurants. We have stayed here probably a dozen times over the years.

It was nice for the price
