Aracan Pyramids Hotel

The hotel wasn't a bad hotel but it;s breakfast was very bad not many choices and wasn't 4 star hotel breakfast at all but just a 2 star hotel. The internet wasn't good enough through the rooms abut I had to stay at the reception at early mornings to do some work. I got sick because of the cold weather in the reception

We stayed for a day here, due to extending stay in Giza and earlier hotel was not available for extension. We stayed on 27dec’19. it’s a very shabby looking place, with all dirty clothed seats even in reception. The rooms are very drab, with no hot water kettle or water bottles or even a mini bar. in our room, even the flush was not working. but when complained, it was repaired immediately. The staff are courteous, but this hotel is not for families or vacations. at best can be a stopover for people travelling on work.

My travel buddy and I stayed at the Aracan Pyramid Hotels for 4 nights as part of a tour package in Cairo. As backpackers we found the room affordable and equipped with all our needs: mini fridge, TV, air conditioner, and free WiFi, as well as fresh towels and toiletries. The hotel was in a great location, close to the Pyramids, and within walking distance of ample restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores. All of the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and eager to help with any questions or concerns. Our stay even included complimentary breakfast, featuring a diverse spread of local cuisine, western favorites, and bottomless coffee. If you seek a safe place to rest your head after an exhilarating day exploring magical Cairo, this is your budget travel dream!!

None of the locks worked and the metal in the bathroom was rusted but overall clean

Don’t believe what you see in the pictures The whole entire hotel needs a renovation

I understand this is is a 4 star hotel, obviously old. There wasn't even a welcome bottle of water at least on the first day, and there's still a trace of cigarette smell even if I requested a non-smoking room. At least they are quick to respond to our complain about the aircon malfunction. Breakfast was good enough.

I would not stay at this hotel again. Not that I’m ever going back to Egypt. Its dirty and requires a complete refurbishment. The price was very good. Now we know why. It did teach me to drink black tea.
