Caloundra Central Apartment Hotel

Old Run down. Messy. Dirty. No staff to get additional room keys

I picked this apartment because it was close to where my family lives, but I don't think i would do that again.

The place is old, run down and needs work for the price it charges. I did not realise the second bathroom does not have a window, the sliding door to the balcony does not lock and we had to wash the dishes as they were put away dirty. A lot of the apartments are lived in and I did not think about this when I booked, one apartment was quite noisy. Also to get to this apartment you use the outside elevator, you actually don't go inside the apartment, which I felt unsafe at night.

Clean and comfortable

No staff to greet you and did not outline parking etc

Room - tidy and clean. It was also quiet despite being on a main road Good shower, Comfortable bed

Very little face to face interaction with staff. (As first time visitors, it was rather daunting and awkward not having any form of assistance to help us , first book in and then to locate our accommodation.) Car parking for Studio apartment guests is VERY limited. If any long term secure vacant parking bays were offered at a nominal nightly rate to short-term guests, it would be very helpful.

Overall the building was very tired
