A Casa Mia - Bed & Breakfast

We needed a place to use as a base to visit friends. This was ideal and superbly located for ease of travel either by walking or on the local buses. We walked every night into the old city centre with its charming streets and historic buildings. To visit the new city was easy too with excellent bus services and the funiculare (short steep rail service from the upper city to the lower one). This service goes on late into the night. Local travel was cheap and reliable.

Christina made us feel so welcome nd really went out her way to help. We ate at all the restaurants she recommended nd they were all amazing thank you so much

Very close to Bergamo's Citta Alta. Cristina is the best host, friendly and knowledgeable about the city and the restaurants aound. Go there you will be happy.

Very welcoming owner, who was very helpful with all our questions . Very knowledgeable about the local area. Delicious breakfasts with a very wide range of choice including ample fresh fruit. Best to ask for a room with a balcony view, which is wonderful. Shared bathroom worked out fine.

Fantastic view, big room with private bath. Excellent personalized breakfast. The owner and her daughter were very helpful. Very clean room and bathroom. The bathroom was very nicely designed and a bit larger than the average European bathroom. We loved the shopping and gelato that is within easy walking distance.

The room was clean and the view was amazing. Even though we had to leave early in the morning and miss breakfast, our host packed us a huge amount of food to take with us. Truly amazing. Great service.

My brother and I stayed at A Casa Mia for only one night, but Cristina extended the warmest hospitality I may have every experienced in my European travels. When we arrived to the hotel on Friday evening we asked about parking nearby, and she made it no trouble for us, by giving us her own spot in front of the B&B, which was a huge convenience for us, not being used to driving in narrow streets. The B&B itself had lots of character, but the first thing I noticed when we walked through the door was the fresh and airy feel - it's extremely clean, which is usually the only thing I worry about when booking B&B's. No need to worry here. Cristina gave us a full explanation of the hotel, where everything was located, and helped us with recommendations for places to eat (we took her recommendation to eat at the "hidden place", which was a great choice. Breakfast again exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet is set up in front of a spectacular view over the town. She put such a lot of care into the presentation of everything, it truly felt like you were being looked after by family. My brother and I are now looking for the next opportunity to visit Bergamo, with our whole family from Canada. It's such a little gem of a town, made all the more special by staying at A Casa Mia.

The B and B is nicely located. The owner was helpful. The room had a beautiful view.

Cristina was so welcoming and helpful.The room was clean and very nicely decorated with wonderful views over the lower City.There was a fridge with ice cool water which we appreciated as the temp was in the top 30s.There was a table laid out in the dining room with tea , coffee,kettle , biscuits , fruit and a dish of sweets for us to help ourselves to any time we wanted. She helped us with car parking as she has a disk ,so we knew before we went that parking wouldn't be a problem in the old city.All in all we will be going again just as soon as we can as there is so much to explore in the old medieval streets.Thanks Cristina !
