Lovely large spacious hotel

Drink prices as you'd expect from a hotel, trip into Winchester town is about 8.50 in a cab 45 mins walk on foot. Lovely hotel good breakfast friendly staff

La modernité et la propreté. La chambre familiale était suffisamment spacieuse pour 4. Le restaurant de l’hôtel était correct, la nourriture est bonne malgré un service lent et désorganisé. Le petit déjeuner est complet, très agréable surprise.

La salle de bains était adaptée aux handicapés, alors que nous ne le sommes pas, donc un peu inapproprié à mon goût, et l’eau n’était pas assez chaude pour la saison.

Great location near to Winchester with a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. Nice airy feel in central atrium of the hotel. Room clean and bright. Helpful and friendly staff on the desk. Staff on breakfast duty in the restaurant really friendly and efficient. Great breakfast- quality bacon and sausage and a wide variety of cold options and fresh fruit.

The windows don’t open in the bedrooms which is standard these days, but we would have liked the aircon to go lower than 18 degrees- it was a little warm for good sleep. We found the bath/shower a little awkward to get in and out of as the side is quite high and the entrance is quite narrow.
