I liked everything, a very nice place

Accessibility Stayed in double accessible room 124. We have stayed at this hotel on five occasions in a different room. This hotel has had a makeover since we last stayed and I don’t know what’s going on but the toilet is only 44cm high and does not meet the building regulations standard of 48cm. For accessible bathrooms. They have an accessible looking blue toilet seat but don’t be fooled the toilet isn’t high enough. Add that to the lack of drop down handrail and I found it impossible to get off the toilet without assistance. The shower has perfectly suitable handrails and seat so it is extremely disappointing that the toilets in the bathrooms don’t meet the same standards. Reception staff were kind and listened and will pass my comments on to management. The spa has an accessible toilet that meets all the requirements. I advise checking before you book expecting a suitably accessible bathroom. In another note the room had a stale smell .

We had a family room with two double beds . Comfortable mattresses, quality bed for a good nights sleep On site parking .

Slight drain smell in the bathroom . Pay for parking
