The Ironwood

Large space. Clean rooms. Bathrooms weren't as clean as I though they would be. Seems a little outdated. But otherwise cozy. Parking is small underground. Great place for kids. Just needs to to updated a bit.

Strata was doing a complete reno of the building but instead of renovating one floor at a time, every floor of the building was ripped apart. Very dirty and dusty and extemely noisy. We kept tracking in drywall dust into the until as all the carpets were ripped out. The parking garage was also a big mess too with limited parking. Thank goodness our room was decent but honestly what were they thinking even renting out the units! Super disappointing to see such an absolute mess when we entered the building!

This property has amazing views, and is a good size for the family. Unfortunately while we were there the common areas were being renovated and that meant little parking and a bit of noise. Main issue was the apartment was really hot as got morning sun and had no air conditioning and opening balcony door wasn't enough. However there were installed split systems they just hadn't been connected yet, so this may not be an issue going forward. Property is a little far from village so you need a car.

We stayed at Whiskey Jack's before and it was just as good or even better. Great service. Would recommend. No issues.
