Grand Miramar All Luxury Suites & Residences

We booked two standard deluxe rooms at this hotel, and there were three people in our party. Although the resort is off the beaten path, the views are stunning. However, customer service (specifically the front desk staff) is severely lacking for this caliber of hotel and not commensurate with their AAA 4-diamond rating. When we checked in and mentioned we were celebrating my husband’s birthday that day, there was no acknowledgment other than them trying to upsell us in their highest room category. We respectfully declined, so they placed us on the first floor near the elevator with an obstructed view of the ocean even though there were other rooms available on higher floors. It’s important to note that we generally tip well, but it’s pretty tacky for the staff to pressure us into leaving tip at the breakfast buffet. We emphasized to that random server that we already handed cash to our specific server as tip. Check-out time is 11am and they were also inflexible with grating our request to check out at 12pm even though we only needed one of the two rooms for ex extra hour. I understand the hotel’s response-such requests are based on availability, but it seems that the mantra of this hotel is, No, no can do, absolutely not, but where’s the tip. Stay elsewhere if customer service is important to you.

Spent Christmas and New Year here with our kids and grandkids this year. The hotel did not disappoint. Our family had a wonderful time enjoying the breakfast, cocktails, food and the pools at this beautiful property. The rooms are clean and the property is well maintained. A few of the days the main pool was a bit too warm. The staff is what makes this property stand out. At the front of the house, Alberto,Salvador,Luis and Mario took care of all of our needs. In the dining room Able, Jorge and the rest of the staff are amazing. We will be back in February for another stay. Thanks to all of the staff for making our holiday memorable.

This was our third year staying at the Grand Miramar, and once again it was a fantastic experience. We spent 14 days here and the service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff is always attentive and seems to anticipate our needs at every turn. The restaurant service was outstanding with special thanks to Abel Hernández and his entire crew, especially Reyna, Jorge, Jesús, María, and Alejandra. The bell staff was wonderful as well: thank you to Alberto, Salvador, Mario, and Luis for being so friendly and helpful every day. And a big thank-you to Ángela Pelayo at the front desk for her warmth and professionalism. Beautiful property, incredible views, comfortable rooms, and truly memorable service — it’s easy to see why we keep coming back. A definite 5-star stay!

We try to stay there whenever we are in Puerto Vallarta as it is just far enough away from the crowds, and located on the mountain, but a very short taxi ride to the center. The view is spectacular and the pools are just the right temperature. I think it is one of the best breakfasts in town and it's included in our room. Victor, the manager was so helpful and kind. We have been staying there for years, and we will continue each tine we are in PV.

We normally do not like big resorts, but Grand Miramar was a pleasant exception. The view of the ocean is unparalleled here. The downtown is 10 min away by taxi. But what was the most memorable was the service and hospitality. The bellboys are always on top of things: Salvador, Mario, and Luis. We had a beautiful stay thanks to them.

This is the most beautiful and amazing place I've ever stayed and the staff are all so caring and helpful. The housekeeper was there everyday to make the room fresh and clean. The breakfast buffet was so good with so much food to choose from. The crew that greeted us there every morning were always running to serve people with a smile. I just can't say enough about the grand Miramar. Louis, Salvador and Alberto took care of all our taxi calls and ran the free shuttle to town everyday when we wanted it. The beauty of this place is beyond a 5 star with the pools, hot tub and all the beautiful flowers everywhere. We will definitely come back again.

I was woke up a couple nights from people talking loud in the hallway or slamming the door.

Everything was lovely/ hotel is beautiful with gorgeous view overlooking the ocean / staff very attentive and willing to asssist/ room was gorgeous with ocean view suite with jacuzzi / pools clean and warm

As avid all inclusive resort goers, Grand Miramar was our first adventure away from AIs in Mexico. Why didn’t we do this sooner? What a lovely, enjoyable, relaxing, and best of all-affordable place to go for a getaway. We enjoyed everything about this place. The breakfast buffet was 10/10 every morning and the poolside servers and bartenders are attentive and friendly. Luis and Salvador were always ready to help or have a chat with a smile. We are pool/read a book/have a drink/take in the view people, so the distance from the beach didn’t bother us. Grand Miramar’s pools, views, and service were all we needed. We had a corner suite with a jacuzzi on the balcony- worth every cent! Comfortable and spacious but still feels cozy, insane views. Go here!
