Grand Miramar All Luxury Suites & Residences

We’ve been here many times. While this is not an inexpensive place, it just a fraction of the cost of many of the luxury places in Vallarta. The staff is wonderful. A great breakfast is included. It is at the top of the exclusive Las Conchas neighborhood with spectacular views of the Bahía de Banderas. It is quiet with every amenity. It’s a 100 peso cab ride to the Zona Romántica.

I recently stayed at the Grand Miramar over the week of American Thanksgiving for a total of 10 nights, and I will say it was one of the most relaxing vacations I’ve ever been on. The hotel is secluded, but with that comes peace and quiet. I enjoyed the spa for a massage, a hydrotherapy session, and a float session all of which were fantastic. I have to say, the staff at this property is top-notch and truly what makes it a 5-star experience. I enjoyed the pool every day that I was there. By the second day, the staff had learned what I liked, and as soon as they saw me, they would ask if I was ready for one. They were always walking around to see if guests needed anything. As for the location, it’s up in the hills, which keeps you away from the hustle and bustle. Anytime I needed to go somewhere which was daily I used Uber. It was never expensive, and drivers always arrived in under 10 minutes. All the staff members are willing to help with anything they can. I wish I knew the gentleman’s name who worked in the pool area because he was phenomenal at his job. I ordered room service on a couple of occasions, and it was decent exactly what you would expect from room service. I loved this property so much that I’m already looking to see when I can visit again.

This place is awesome. One of the hidden jewels in Puerto Vallarta. The service is exceptional and the staff (Alberti, Mario, Salvador, Luis) was amazing. We had a medical emergency during our stay and they took care of us like family. We are definitely coming back!!!

Not really accessible to people with disabilities. No roll on showers, despite claims. Even bathrooms in public areas were too small to close a door if you were using a walker or wheelchair.

Our two-week stay at the Grand Miramar was lovely. The location and view is amazing and we enjoyed the pools and restaurants. Their attention to cleanliness at the hotel, including the common areas and rooms were also appreciated. The breakfast was delicious and the servers and kitchen staff were friendly and accommodating. We also wanted to give a special shout out to the staff at the front. Salvador, Alberto, Luis and Mario were such a great first impression to the hotel. Their friendly smiles and great conversations made us feel special every day. We really enjoyed meeting every one of them. They were always willing to help with any of our questions or requests. The front desk was a bit of a challenge for us. When our room was not cleaned one day, they suggested we had left our "do not disturb sign" on the door, instead of them taking blame. Also, when my cousins checked out of their room next to ours, they were charged MXN $1000.00 for a broken wine glass, and when they objected to this charge it was brought down to MXN $250.00. After a long discussion, they did not have to pay this, but it left all of us with a bad taste. The staff at the front desk even told them (and I was there to witness this) that they would be charged if a glass was broken in the restaurant. As we stayed at the hotel longer than my cousins, I used cheap plastic glasses for the rest of my stay.

The grand Miramar was an excellent experience! The view is beautiful from every room in the hotel, and the hotel itself is beautiful as well. My now fiancée worked with staff to plan a romantic dinner to propose on a private rooftop, which was an unforgettable experience! All of the staff were fantastic, Mario, Luis, Salvador and Alberto were extremely helpful and made sure we were well taken care of.

We had such a beautiful and wonderful time at the Grand Miramar! The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. The view is breathtaking from anywhere on the property, being on top of the hill provides full views. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff. Everyone was so kind and attentive. Alberto, Mario, Luis, and Salvador kept us safe in the front. They kept an eye on everyone’s coming and goings, they helped us order taxis and travel safely. They were always so helpful and provided a hand with bags and our baby. They brought us smiles and so much love. They told us stories and all the tips and tricks we need to navigate town. Simply outstanding service!

This place took our breath away when we first saw it with my hubby!!! I felt like we suddenly stepped into a dreamworld!!! It is a gorgeous property!!! Its architecture and location high up on a side of the mountain with a jungle behind it and vast views of the ocean in front are just spectacular!!! It does need some renovation and good persistent maintenance work though, but that’s always inevitable!!! Our master suite was specious, comfortable and luxurious!!! We absolutely couldn’t get enough of the jaw-dropping views from our private terrace with a jacuzzi!!! There were bougainvillea flowers all around and over and we could regularly see Parrots, Magnificent Frigate birds and Vultures flying by and hear other birds calling each other including the Common Pauraque!!! This undoubtedly was the highlight for us!!! Unfortunately the downside we didn’t expect and know about was the big ugly just another hotel construction, seemingly abandoned quite some time ago and right next to us! Moreover it was also almost as tall! So, it was entirely blocking the view of the Playa de Los Muertos and PV! Otherwise we would have had a 180 degree views! Our main bedroom windows and a smaller terrace were facing the structure just a few feet away. I honestly felt like I could touch it. So we kept the curtains closed the whole time. This of course was not only very annoying, but also made us very unhappy and kinda reconsider our choice for booking! On the other hand, staff were very friendly and attentive!!! Special thanks to the helpful bellmen crew Salvador, Alberto and Ivis, front desk agent Serafin and the splendid customer service from the waitstaff!!! We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a view of the ocean!!! It was varied and the food was delicious!!! My favorite were the fresh fruits, the cottage cheese, the Pan de Muerto and the croissants!!! The hash browns our first morning were the best and the tastiest ones we both have had for a while!!! Being also able to order aside of the buffet was a very convenient option!!! The best touch for us was the little coffee/smoothie corner by the reception!!! Such a yummy Frappuccino!!! All the pools are beautiful, but the adults only rooftop infinity one definitely steals the show!!! They do close it very early though at 5pm to set up the restaurant for dinner! We had dinner there our first night and it was very romantic!!! However there weren’t enough options for vegetarians like us! We would appreciate more extensive menu options!
