Old Capitol Inn

We stayed overnight driving through to our sons. The employees at the front desk were amazing. They were super friendly and easy to talk too. We definitely recommend staying here. The museums and capital being so close is definitely a bonus.

Safe parking, friendly staff and clean room. The property feels authentic. And it is close to the civil rights museum and the old capitol building.

This was a charming hotel in the center of Jackson. Staff were very friendly and facilities were excellent. Loved the outdoor garden for breakfast and drinks in the evening. (Nice that it has a well-stocked bar!) And the breakfast was great. Secure parking too.

Princeton is the absolute best at making sure your stay is comfortable! The rooms are unique and cozy! They are spacious and inviting. The courtyard is an absolute must for cocktails and coffee in the morning. We won’t stay anywhere else whilst in the area. 🫶🏼

Nice suite. Comfortable and quiet.

The staff are so very friendly and polite. Our suite was decorated so tastefully with some very historic artifacts remembering James Meredith when he was the first black student at Old Miss in 1963, This was our 2nd stay and we enjoyed both equally. The hotel is small, old, decorated with a modern flair, and very neat. We were meeting some old friends and enjoyed lunch at the Inn, drinks and conversation in our suite before going out to dinner at an old haunt. It's a great place to meet old friend or to stay while traveling or to enjoy a lunch as a local or visitor. It's also a popular location for a wedding party. Its just up the street from the old Capitol in a quiet part of old downtown, easy to and from the interstates.

A clean and spacious place to stay right in the heart of Jackson. I had a little initial trouble as my room had a large industrial fan in it, but I was swiftly assigned another room that was equally nice and fan-free. The included breakfast was ample and tasty, and if you're interested in the state history and Civil Rights museums, they are literally across the street.
