Old Capitol Inn

Nice historical hotel!

The Capitol Inn was lovely and in a quiet area. It was beautiful and the room we stayed in was just lovely! Clean and the staff were so friendly and gave us a few food recommendations and was just a delightful experience. Will go there again next time im in town!

Fantastic breakfast. Good variety and all well cooked. My room was clean, characterful and comfortable.. Staff were exceptionally helpful, kind and friendly.

The only thing that was not so good was the shower. It probably needs mending/servicing.

Very spacious rooms, very nice staff, and very good breakfast!! (I love when a hotel has bacon for breakfast!!) It's convenient to downtown and has gated parking. I like unique buildings with interesting history. This one used to be a YWCA. Had a great stay!

A very charming boutique hotel with excellent service food and a spacious suite. To sum it up-an 11 on a 1 to 10 !

Property was really nice the surrounding road work was a mess.

Good size rooms, great service, welcoming staff and an old place that is made new again. It was a welcome sight to see the safe and secure gated parking. The night clerk was very friendly and helpful in getting us checked in. The rooms were themed in line with memorable people like Faulkner which was our suite. The complimentary breakfast was especially good with homemade grits, biscuits, fluffy eggs and rich, smooth coffee. There were many other choices, but I did not sample them. The location was perfect for exploring The Museum of Mississippi History and the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum for they were across the street from the hotel. Old Capitol Inn made our stay in Jackson one of our favorite vacations!

The Old Capitol Inn was the perfect place to stay for my meeting at the Mississippi Museums. I simply walked across the street! Both the hotel and the museums are filled with class and interest.

It was nostalgic but nice. Liked the courtyard. Made me think of Savannah Ga.
