Capri Motel

We stayed here and it was horrible. We had to change rooms because the smell was so bad. The other room wasn't much better. The rooms smell, are dirty, no internet, the pool was closed and just disgusting overall. Spoke to management several times and the last time I went to the office, management and staff were in the back office smoking marijuana. Several other people refused to stay in this place.

It was the worst motel I have ever seen. We left! The employee was rude, the room was smelly and dirty with ants crawling on the walls. When we requested a receipt we were refused and when we insisted, they called the police,

There were so many things wrong with our room that I don't know where to begin, so let me state the one good aspect: the sheets were clean. But the list of issues is long: the musty smell of the room was overpowering; the filter on the A/C hadn't been cleaned in the last decade (and I tried not to think of all the dust and who-knows-what we were breathing in while we slept); the walls were covered in black marks; the window was cracked; the globe on the hanging light had multiple dead bugs in it; the toilet seat was missing the bumpers on the underside and had some weird green goop on it (I was so disgusted by it that I refused to sit down on it); the vanity had jagged pieces of laminate missing; the only available outlet in the room was by the bed, but it didn't work. We were on a motorcycle trip, finding places to stay as we went, never sure ahead of time where we were going to end the day. That part was really fun. What wasn't so fun was having to stay in a dump like this motel. Here's what the experience taught us: check the room first before paying for it.

Clean for the most part. Carpet looked very dirty. It needs to b riped out and replaced. Shower pressure was awesome!! Check in took a little while but went smooth.

Arrived at the Capri hotel at 5:00PM. Our room was not ready. It seemed management had decided to do major remodeling to the motel the weekend of July 4th; replacing all the beds and some of the carpeting. While we could check in - recorded our credit card, they could not print out a receipt as their printer did not work. We were told our room would be ready in an hour. We returned at 6:30PM. The room looked like the beds were new but wallpaper was peeling off the walls and the bathroom smelled musty. We asked for a refund/cancelation as the room and motel was not as advertised; definitely not clean, no water in the pool and the continental breakfast was a micro wave and a toaster. The desk attendant responded with a NO!. H e could not give us a refund because a) we did not cancel 72 hours prior as told to us by the desk clerk or b)24 hours prior as stated on the check in registration document. Take your pick. He would, however, a) give us a free pass to a water park because the pool was not operating (we are 74 year old seniors) b) a breakfast coupon to a local restaurant somewhere in the city and, c) he would move us to another room. The other room was better but; The night stand that was to be between the beds was against the far wall. The drapes could not be fully closed over the front window as hooks were missing from the drapes The sink drained slowly as the drain plug was not adjusted properly. Very dated property, needs a lot on maintenence, leaking plumbing, broken aircondioner, very old beds, worn and stained towels and bedding. Should be renamed to "The Last Resort" since it appears that way.

The hotel was OK for our one night at it, it is a very mom and dad hotel. Confortable for a night to sleep.

this was one of the worst motels i have ever been to i wouldnt recommend it for anyone it was hot not comfy an smelt really bad

It was outdated and it felt dirty. The wall in our room by the air conditioner was rotted from the water drainage. Needs new mattress and bedding.
