"My emergency exit"

8.0

Well an emergency with my dad I never got to sleep in it or be in the room at all. But did see the manger and 1 other person cleaning the rooms they looked .pretty good for what I seen. But the manger in the office was great very helpful with the whole situation. Thank you so much..

"Not the bargain you think."

4.0

The staff at the motel were excellent. Friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately they could not make up for the accommodations. We had 2 young children who wanted to swim in the pool but it was full of something growing on the bottom. We were offered to go up the road to another motel to swim. The beds were comfortable but the room was too small for 2 double beds. The bathroom sink faucet was difficult to turn on and the water pressure in the shower was so strong you could have drowned. The carpet was in bad need of cleaning. We wouldn't allow the children to be down on the floor.

"Clean and affordable"

8.0

We stayed on night. Get a good rest. Beds are comfortable. Room and bathroom are clean. TV and air conditioner worked very well. Owner was friendly and very helpful. He provided useful information and brochures. Light breakfast. Better than in some chain hotels. Nice location. Close to different points of interest. Good value for the money during the hot season.

"Clean simple....why more could you possibly need."

8.0

Clean, quiet, old school simple. Beds a comfortable.. Pillows soft. Location is perfect for bridge access and downtown Mackinac city. Your away from the maddening crowd so in and out of town is simple easy. Yet just a short walk from tourist trap central. Continue entail breakfast was typical.....but coffee was good and Hot. Orange juice was sent and cold. Toasted rain bagley, a bowl of raisin bran (icy cold milk too)... And I was out the door well rested and ready for a day of kayaking. No frills!!!! True enough... Hey!.... I go north to play and simplify. Not ti collect bragging rights about a needlessly posh over priced hotel I spent a weeks salary to stay at. But you can't go wrong at the "Capri", if all you really need....is to see a smiling face when you arrive at check-in and a good nights rest.

"Old and in desrepair"

4.0

room was relatively clean but needed some bright paint and bedspreads, and new Curtains/drapes AC was noisy; Pool was not clean Nicest room was the breakfast room. Donuts were frozen. Price should have been $10 cheaper for me to ever stay there again. I would not recomend this place to any one.

"Budget with inattentive staff"

4.0

Room was just ok. Worn, frumpy, but essentially clean. "Breakfast" was sparse. No tea bags for this non-coffee drinker. No staff prese t at desk, but a sign to push the red button for service. Pushed it repeatedly but no one appeared. Ok. So I will have some oatmeal. Mixed the package with milk and hot water in a bowl and placed in microwave. Ran for a few seconds and then apparently tripped a breaker to cut out the electricity. ( Someone was using the toaster at the same time...) Still no staff. Decided it was hot enough, But NO SPOONS!!! Or forks even... So...no breakfast for me! I wouldn't use the word "dump", but it was very disappointing.
