Capri Motel

Friendly staff, helpful when asked about wi-fi. Bed was good for a lower price motel. Very good water pressure for shower. Very easy off and on to 75. Convenient to "downtown".

Rooms outdated and dirty.

We were suppose to be there for a week. They didn't give us a fridge so i had to be a cooler and he got mad when we needed to use the ice. Our air conditioner kept freezing up and it was only on 3. Then we had an emergency come up and had to leave 2 days early to get back home and he said I don't know if I can get your money back I will have to talk to the manager. A minute later he walked by and said I will comp you $15 off your room next time you come up. I live 17hrs away. I'm sorry but I paid $100 for those 2 nights. $15 will not cut it. I was very unhappy with our stay..

The air conditioner was not complete. It was missing the front of it, open to the filthy filter, big stain on curtain looked like it could be blood. The tub was full of soap scum, and the shower curtain was disgusting. Paint peeling,

Clean, small, and relatively comfortable. Outdoor pool was warm, tons of kids that weren't trapped indoors. Quiet. Would definitely stay again! Continental breakfast leaves much to be desired. Cereal, Bagels, coffee and juice.

The Capri is a 1960's motor lodge that is inexpensive, clean,well maintained, with friendly staff. No frills but good value for the money. One of the least expensive hotels in Mackinaw City, the welcome is friendly and your tourist questions are gladly answered. The a/c and tv work and the bathroom spotless. Plenty of towels. The pool is also nice. The area is generally quiet. It is just off I-75 so you are not on the massive tourist strip, which is a plus in my book, but it is near enough to the restaurants that you can walk. Also close to the parking for the ferries if you are in town for that. We would definitely stay there again if we return to the area.

Room and bath was clean and comfortable, although dated. Breakfast was not extensive with choices but more than adequate. Management was very friendly. This is a good value for an overnight stay, and we will likely return.

Good for the price, easy to find. Not all rooms have a fridge. Other than that it was great.

The hotel manager was nice and helpful and the prices were very good. The establishment is, as others have noted, very outdated. There was also a slight musty smell in the room and in the pillows.

My fiancé and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. We stayed because they let us bring our dog. Overall, the room was clean, but it was outdated, although we didn't mind. The price was right and we knew we would only be staying for one night on our way into the UP. We would stay again.
