"My Experience"

2.0

The Capri Motel was the cheapest motel available during a busy weekend. When we arrived our room appeared to be clean, but a few hours later we noticed that there was a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom from a previous guest. After that, we didn't feel comfortable that the room had been cleaned so we slept in our clothing on top of the blankets and sheets using our own pillows. When I woke up the next morning, the door to our room was open and was only being held by the bar latch. None of our belongings were missing, but we left very shortly after that.

"Just for fun"

6.0

It was a fun trip to ride with some friends. The motel was just a short over night stop. Yes the beds were a little hard but who cares when you been riding all day and the room was very clean. The breakfast was ok but most of us just wanted coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

"You get what you pay for"

This motel was across the street from the Visitors Center, that was the maybe the best part of our stay. The motel has been neglected and in need of some TLC. In the bathroom the cold and hot water on the sink were switched, so if you didn't pay attention you would scald yourself washing your hands or brushing your teeth. After a shower if you walked on the carpet your feet would be filthy and the towels even though washed still looked like the ones that my husband uses in the garage. The beds were uncomfortable and the bedding was questionable, old, stained and looked dirty. We were told that our room was a nice one, yikes. We had a few hours to waste so we thought that we would use the pool to relax, the pool had been overly chlorinated to the point that it had a green tint and a strong chlorine smell, we were afraid that we would ruin our suits so no pool time for us. We had a very nice front desk manager but she was new and not familiar with too much of what to do in the city. We will go back to this area next year but I am sorry to say that we will not be staying at the Capri.

"Off the beaten path"

6.0

The staff was very nice. However the hotel needs to be updated. Our room was clean,im not saying that. I did not like the window in our bathroom, it would have been nice if it was clouded or etched glass. I could see right out which means whoever could see right in. They also need to replace the mattresses, ours was so worn out we could feel the springes. The location is just a around the corner from the center of town, but to far to walk.
