We booked here because my son was staying here and we had been here with him 4 years ago. Wasn't bad then. This trip, the room was not very clean, the bed was awful. My back hurt from laying on it. The motel has an 11:00 pm quiet rule, not enforced. I had people outside my room at 3:30 am sitting on the back on their pickup talking and laughing quite loudly. When I realized it wasn't going to stop I got dressed, opened up the door and asked them to be quiet. They agreed and went to bed, but that's not my job. The hot water for tea is in the office and comes out a less than a trickle, a real pain. No microwave or refrigerator in the room, also annoying. Litter and cigarette butts all over the place outside. The continental breakfast is minimal. The bagels and english muffins are cut in half already. I'm guessing they hope you will only take a half so it goes farther. The owners are not on premises so I suspect this plays into the low quality. There is a pool though that seems to get a lot of use. Also was told the family that owns the motel has 7 motels in the area and they spend 6 months running the motels and 6 months on their yacht in Florida. I won't return to this motel again.

Sink was plugged and not clean. Tub floor was not clean.

This motel is just awful. Staff is incredibly rude, bed is hard as a rock, the continental breakfast was a joke, and the room was just gross. There were dead bugs in the window, the carpet left our feet black, and the bathroom looked as if it had never been scrubbed. Will NEVER be back.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us a discount for the ferry to the Mackinac Island.

Friendly helpful staff. Basic clean room. Inexpensive and convenient/near highway and Visitor Center. Old TV. Pool heater not working...but could go to "sister motel."

The beds were uncomfortable, was hard to sleep due to the noisy air conditioner. Our friends had mould on the bathroom floor,large patch.

Needed an inexpensive, convenient place to stay before leaving for Mackinac Island. Worked just fine

No fridge, bagel breakfast and $50 cheaper than other hotels in area

The manager was great. The carpet was filthy
