The check in is off putting with the sales pitch about attending a presentation about purchasing one of the properties. Gym is nice and open 24hrs. Lots of hot tubs around the property. Condo was nice. Great fridge and stocked with utensils and such to prepare food if desired. Washer and dryer in the unit. Coffee pot takes ground coffee and they provide a couple filters. They only provided one serving of regular coffee for a two night stay which was strange. Comfortable bed, nice sitting area with fireplace, and spacious dining area and kitchen. The cons- it was SUPER loud being on the second floor. The people above me were running around until midnight and I could hear everyone in the hallways with the doors slamming until about 11pm. Overall nice place to stay but ask to be on the top floor.

"Not romantic in any way!"

This property is for big groups and families, not for a couple's getaway or ski trip. The hot tubs, steam room, and sauna facilities are nice, although always full (on a normal week, not even holidays) with kids and their loud parents.

After a very long check-in process (imputable in part to Booking.com), the apartment we were assigned felt too big for two and was decorated with bulky, generic furniture which, we imagined, would resist the abuse by kids and big groups. The walls are too thin and we could hear the whirring of the elevator and the hubbub of a vending machine all the time. Located near the entrance of the building, we could hear people coming in and out (and the door slamming), too. Not recommended.

"Family trip to steamboat"

Great ski vacation for the family. Although not ski out, the transportation to the resort was readily available and convenient. We were on the slopes quickly with no problems. They have a lot of family amenities like hot chocolate and popcorn. The room is great, clean with everything we need for a 4 day trip. The resort is on property at steamboat resort and very close to downtown, restaurants and grocery stores. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Fantastic condo! Kitchen had great cookware provided. Very clean. Comfortable bed and pull out couch. Clear walking paths. Very good fitness facility for a hotel/ condo.

"Convenient, Spacious existing Steamboat Springs accommodations"

We recently stayed here during mud season. Because most of the Steamboat attractions and tourists were vacant we met numerous locals, dined and drank like locals and enjoyed a wonderful time in the community. The resort staff was responsive, personable, and enthusiastic about their property and community.

"Disappointed VIP"

Dear Wyndham Resort Customer Service Team, I am writing to express my concerns regarding a recent experience at your Steamboat Springs location that left my family and me feeling disheartened and disrespected. During our stay, we were looking forward to participating in a bingo activity that was advertised in the lobby. When we arrived, we were informed that we were five minutes late and, therefore, could not join the event. To our surprise, another customer service representative encouraged us to go in, only for us to be met by a supervisor who apologized and informed us that the event was overbooked. While I appreciate the supervisor’s courtesy, I must express my disappointment regarding the handling of this situation. It was not communicated to us that there was limited seating for the event or that strict timing would be enforced, especially considering the weather conditions that evening, with temperatures dropping to 23 degrees. A five-minute delay, particularly given the circumstances, seemed to be an unreasonable basis for exclusion from the activity. As a guest, I believe that events like these should be accommodating to all who wish to participate, especially when advertised for the enjoyment of guests. It would have been helpful to have clearer communication regarding the event’s capacity and the importance of arriving on time. What compounded our disappointment was the interaction we had with a specific customer service representative. Rather than trying to de-escalate the situation, she responded in a manner that felt disrespectful. When I asked for assistance, she treated me as if I were a child, asked for my name in a condescending tone, and then implied that I was being disrespectful to her. She stated that, due to my perceived attitude, she would not engage further in the conversation. I believe that clear communication and respectful customer service are essential in providing a positive experience for all owners and guests. I sincerely hope that you will take this feedback into consideration to improve the training and support provided to your staff in handling guest interactions. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my concerns. I genuinely hope that my family and I can return to Wyndham Resort and have a more positive experience in the future. Sincerely, Weatherford
