Gilpin Hotel & Lake House

Wanted to try both Gilpin restaurants so it made sense to stay on site! Little walk round the llama field was cute

Our bedroom (room 4!) the room itself was lovely however it hasn’t any view other then another room’s little patio area. Felt somewhat awkward when I walked out the shower and the couple in that room were outside vaping we had to draw the curtains which on a beautiful sunny morning didn’t really want. Also couldnt we could lay on bed without being seen if “the neighbours” were sat outside their room

Very good quality with lots of choice for breakfast with fantastic views from the dining room and lounge

There was nothing not to like. Can't wait to go again

The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.

The bathroom in our room had a very low ceiling make it very hard to use. The shower was just too small. Spa access was not convenient, and use of the facilities was at extra cost even though we booked a massage…
