Lodestar Waterside Apartments

Our room hadn't actually been cleaned (towels, sheets had been used) when we were given the key. We had to ask for it to be cleaned. It wasn't particularly clean in general. The beds were comfortable, at least. There was an aircon issue that thankfully didn’t end up being a problem. Overall, not at all recommended.

Location was great but the carpet was old and stained, the appliances were really old and the kitchen was really outdated. The linen and bathroom was clean. There was no internet as shown in the instructions. It needs new cutlery, fridge and countertop

Absolutely no communication from the hosts and couldn’t even check out with the office hours being open but nobody answering the office door

Generally good. Unit was clean but decor tired. There was traffic noise from freeway, we reduced this by keeping windows closed while sleeping. We appreciated the spacious kitchen and full laundry. Kitchen had oven as well as microwave. Our appartment had adequate utensils. We were taking part in a sports team so spent little time in the appartment during the day. The location was excellent for getting to the various sports fields throughout Perth.

Staff were great & happy to assist with my request for a ground floor apartment . Room was clean & bed comfortable. Will definitely be happy to stay again.

DO NOT BOOK AT THIS PROPERTY!!! This place is a scam. Arrived to the most disgusting, un-hygienic room I have ever seen in my life. - blood stains on the walls - mold on the bedding - brown stains on the bedsheets - piles of hair and dirt all over the floor - chips and scratches covered over all walls and counters - multiple burn marks on the floor - all kitchenware unwashed - sinks and hot plate dirty - toilet takes 6-7 flushes to clear - Wi-Fi doesn’t work - reception staff rude and unhelpful. wont do anything. Property management has gone silent, taken our money and refusing to communicate. Avoid this place at all costs!

We have stayed at these apartments many times over the years but found the cleanliness of the apartment wasn't up to its usual standards this time....

Small things detract from the overall enjoyment of the property: no privacy scrim curtain in the bedroom, no luggage stand, needs shelves or a chest of drawers for clothes, no plug for bathroom sink and the standard of lighting in the lounge area is poor. The low lounge is a pain for an old bloke with crook knees as was the first floor location but I concede they would not be a problem for most people.
