Love staying here

I was prepared to ignore all the hair in the bathroom.. maybe missed the clean this time around. Then I found hair in the fridge. I messaged asking when the room had last been cleaned and was ignored. The place was damp, dirty, unhygienic and stank.

Was decent enough room But dirty dishes in dishwasher and balcony was very unsafe screw went into foot when I step out onto balcony

Good location but noisy; large enough flat with solid facilities BUT carpet dirty and malodorous - requires replacement now; bedside lamps required for all beds.

DO NOT GO THERE. If you makev an error in booking it cannot be changed thanks to The Lodestar and Last Minute.com Please dont use either of them. You will never see your money or actually get to stay. Having looked at the exterior I would suggest you dont go in..car park is dangerous hard to manouvre. Would be easy to get your car damaged. Staff are unhelpful and probably testimony to the shoddy second rate interior. Dont waste your money there are many better quality hotels nearby.

The property was booked due to being in close proximity to one of the hospitals. The apartment was a good size, however very dated with visible marks on the walls and carpets. There was also dust on the bedside tables. The property was in a good location to local shops, cafes, jetty, zoo. Being next to the freeway, there was constant noise from road vehicles and trains.

The location of the property is ideal, and the size of the rooms was generous. But the room was dirty. The shower was in a disgusting state and the carpet was so dirty that it looked unsafe to walk on with bare feet. The curtains were filthy and had obviously not been cleaned for many years. Half of the lights around the unit did not work, including one above the bed which had a bit of insulation tape over the broken switch, and the small balcony had a timber section with loose boards with nails sticking up in a way that made it impossible to stand on without a lot of care. The kitchen was poorly equipped with pots that had no lids and a very dirty exhaust fan. It was essentially unusable. The parking area was also difficult. Only a few bays were available for visitors, but it has been so long since the signs on the parking bays had been painted that it was difficult to work out which ones were available. And finally the place was sprinkled with threatening signs. You will be fined if you lock your self out. You will be doubly fined if you lose your key. If you park in the wrong place your car will be towed away etc. I really dislike people who think we are bad an uncaring visitors. Do the owners really think that threatening notices will improve the behaviour of uncaring visitors? Do they think that we chose to rent their dirty facility in order to behave badly.

Needs new furniture. Stains on walls doors and carpet and doona. Shower temp was too hot for young children and very difficult to keep at a steady temperature. Allocated car space was often occupied making transit with kids difficult. Location was great. Very central and easy to get around the city.
