Montage Deer Valley

Excellent resort located in a spectacular setting.

Beautiful location and property with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. Big fitness center with impressive array of cardio equipment, decent variety of strength training machines and adequate free weights. Good selection and number of restaurants on site. Wonderful staff. A few disappointments I didn't expect at a well known 5 star resort however... when we checked into our room with a king bed and sofa bed it was clear we had 2 adults and 2 kids. When opening the sofa bed later that day it was completely bare. I called the front desk and they told me they wait for the call before sending housekeeping up which they did and the bed was promptly made but why do you have to call for this? The sofa bed is always made up at 3 and 4 star hotels . Why do I need to call to have the bed ready at a 5 star resort when they know there are 4 people checking in ? The bed linens were immaculately clean and fresh smelling and, while not exactly uncomfortable, were a little coarse. Felt like the cheaper, lower thread count sheets that you see at 1 and 2 star hotels. One of our favorite things at the Montage was the s'mores. The last time we stayed they had an array of choices for chocolate and marshmallows. This time you were given a prepacked bag of items which were of good quality but lacked the variety we saw in the past. To be fair this was probably because of Covid restrictions rather than the Montage downgrading their s'more service.

Had an excellent experience staying at the Montage. The amenities were great and the most exceptional part of the stay was the staff especially the staff out front at the valet. They went above and beyond for us including getting us the shuttle on demand. Best hospitality experience I’ve had in America and would definitely be back here. Can’t recommend it more

The amenities at Montage were incredible. Indoor and outdoor pools/hot tubs. The complementary s'mores were great and there are multiple fire pits around the resort to sit around. Variety of options for restaurants/bars onsite. The staff was very friendly. The room had all of the supplied we needed and more. Only negative is that there is no option for parking besides valet. I would definitely recommend and we can't wait to go back!

We liked everything!

We loved staying at the Montage, Deer Valley!! We especially enjoyed getting to know the staff at the Concierge desk, (James, Keston and Roger), LIsa at Valet, Trixie at the Recreation dept. and all the rest of the nameless staff that made our stay very enjoyable. WE can't wait to return!! A. Lowe

The staff was amazing and very accommodating. The unit we stayed in was immaculate.

It was very nice with it being pet-friendly. The people are super friendly and accommodating. Love the heated bathroom floors.

Some employees went out of their way to help, including Russell from the ski rental store. Our kids can't stop talking about Russell.
