Splash Beach Resort, Mai Khao, Phuket

Stayed in March 2025. Check in was great. Check out was great too. Food was good. Beach and pool were good. Friendly staff. Room was big, nice view. Location is great, near the airport. Pool for the children was very good and it is a safe place for everyone. Will be back.

Quite a large resort, would be great for the kids with the splash park attached. Great to see the planes landing and taking off at the beach near the resort. Was a good place to stop off for a couple of days before heading to our other resort

Warning: After booking my room I was informed 2 weeks later the water park would be closed and my stay is non- refundable. The whole reason to take my family there was for the water park. I was never informed of the maintenance when making the reservation. They did offer my family 30% off at the spa but this is not something my children would be interested in. I feel like we have been scammed. Hope you have a better experience.

Great place for a family holiday, splash park included in your stay. Hours of entertainment for kids and adults.

It was not what we expected. The room was fine, had everything one would need, however our bathroom had a leak and water was puddling on the floor. They are right next to the airport, which means you can hear planes most of the day. The water park was unfortunately in need of major maintenance. The wave pool was broken, which was what our kids wanted to do the most and there were other areas that were closed. Paint was chipping everywhere in the water park and at the pools. We frequented the pool near the beach, which was nice.

Great stay, loved the shuttles around the complex. Only negative was breakfast buffet was chaos, no organisation.

I was apprehensive going to this resort because of the reviews I read. I went with low expectations just to crash in the hotel for two days as its close to the airport, and boy! Was I surprised!! Location- The resort is very conveniently placed near to the airport. Its a short 10-15 mins ride to the airport. So, if your flight arrives late, you can just hop here. 7-Eleven is also 10 mins walking distance away. I have also stayed in other 5 star resorts in Mai Khao, like Le Meridien, and to be honest, convenience wise, this was better. Kid Friendly- Water park is great. and mostly the price of it is included in your hotel cost. The kids love it. We chose an executive room with balcony sit out. We had room 9515. and it overlooked the water park, which was a nice sight. Hospitality- Its not Marriott level hospitality but the staff does what they ought to do. They dont have the time or the willingness to chit-chat with you. Plus, they really struggle at English. I noticed, most staff were just Thai people with less or no understanding of English. Space- This resort is HUGE. You cant walk through things. There is a buggy system that allows you move within the resort, and this comes handy. Except for breakfast hours when it does get busy. - I saw many Airport staff in the hotel too (as its close to the airport). They are mostly given priority. The downsides- - You might struggle at communicating, as they just speak Thai. - The apartments are clean and tidy, but the elevators kind of stank of rust. But its only for a few seconds that you will be in them, so not a big deal. - Not ideal for you if you are on your honeymoon - They took a deposit of 4K THB for 2 nights, which is more than what average hotels charge. The plus sides- - The value for money is alot - Close to the airport - Convenient- many spas, many tiny restaurants outside. I got a great deal from Agoda for this, and as compared to all other sites, Agoda had great deal on this one, with least prices and cash backs. I would recommend this hotel 100% based on what it has to offer vs the price!

Great Experience since arrival the staff is so welcoming and friendly. The room so spacious and fully amenities was set up. The breakfast was good, a lot of choices but bit busy around 9:30am. Thank you to all staff to make our stay memorable, specially Narn, Alice and May Bellman

Brilliant hotel. We stayed for 2 nights when we landed in Phuket with a 2 & 4 year old. The room was clean and spacious. We had no balcony which was fine. The splash park is amazing for children of all ages. The breakfast was enjoyable and being just 20 mins from the airport it’s brilliant. There are places to eat just a short walk outside of the resort.

Rooms are very big! Reasonable price. Nice pool area, beach and even free water Park entry. Nice breakfast. Room cleaniness could be better. Some noise came from hallway. Waterpark is quite old and The condition is not The best.
