Splash Beach Resort, Mai Khao, Phuket

We had 2 deluxe Rooms in building 9 level 5. lovely modern, clean rooms. View of waterpark. Breakfast and waterpark included. Booked through Agoda and stayed 2 days at end of holiday prior to flight home. Waterpark- kids love this, was a great way to get out energy before the flight home. It was somewhat rundown looking but all slides open and staff lovely and it felt very safe. Almost no lines for slides. Facilities- great pool by the beach with a really fun vibe. Beach- crowded at sunset and dirty with lots of litter but beautiful sunset and could watch planes take off Breakfast- whilst quality of food was brilliant, the atmosphere was mayhem. Line up to get a seat and then sooo many ppl in buffet area waiting for pancakes/ bacon/ eggs etc to be cooked. For such a big resort crowd control at breakfast didn’t seem adequate

It is a nice hotel with nice rooms and comfy beds. The breakfast was not that great though. The breakfast was modified for Russians since it is about 90% of Russians staying in this hotel, which is not that great. I will not come back, and the reason for this is the rude Russians at this hotel and also that all the menus is in Russians and the Russians food on the breakfast.

Great stay for our family of 4. Large family room. Easy shuttle service to get around. Delicious meals at the beach restaurant for very reasonable prices. Water park was fantastic. Plus beautiful swimming pools and beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again!

We had a nice time at this resort and the daily breakfast buffet and access to the waterslides were a nice bonus that we did not expect but the grounds and water slides need updating and the restaurant pricing was expensive for what you got.

The place was pretty highly rated thats why we went for it, but tbh honest it was average at best. The rooms were really spacious but that was probably the best part of the hotel. The reception staff were pretty useless. The waterpark was fun and surprisingly empty, but its seen better days and is pretty tired. Quite a few areas weren't working. The breakfast was good but it is a bit of a bun fight with all the Russians that dominate this hotel. Definitely get there early. We stayed for 3 nights and that was more than enough!

Hi We checked in with into a pool villa, we had no hot water.. the nect day we ate at the restaurant in the hotel and had food poisoning. I was really sick,the hotel sent a doctor out and charged me 600 USD for a consult. Wen we complained at checkout, the manager Sue called her security to escort us out the hotel. This is by far the worst resort i have ever stayed in, i urge any traveller to pls watch out for such scams.

Decent place in terms of the attached water park and access to a beautiful beach. The breakfast is distinctly average and the dining options at the property are limited.
