Location was great

the toilet was cramped.

The appartment is central and easy to find. The location made it possible for my mother and I to get around easily due to disabilities. It was clean and quaint and was better than I expected. I would use rent by night for our next trip to Brussels and recommend to everyone interested in staying in brussels.it was also very affordable.

Location was excellent, very close to Grand Place. Two bedroom apartment. WIFI very strong. Perfect just for a couple days stay. Plenty of towels, hot water for shower & small kitchen if you wish to cook. Bars/restaurants very close by. We did a day trip to Bruges, saw European Parliament, Atomium & Mini Europe When you check out just leave apartment keys on the table.

It's not the Ritz, very basic. We arrived late so had to pick up keys at a lock box approx 7 minutes walk from apartment.

Location

Great as a storage for your luggage due to central location but if you want to get some rest or god forbid get some sleep, forget about it. It’s roasting in the apartment in the summer as located in the attic, when you open windows the roaring from the street is unbearable. There was an issue with electricity throughout our stay as well. The issue was fixed by the host and came back the same night. Unfortunately not recommending.

Toilet area too small for tall people to use - UNACCEPTABLE. Shower head was broken but worked. Elevator not useable - stopped between floors or stopped completely - could not get it working and was stuck for a few minutes. It says it is a security feature but no one touched the buttons.

There was some good things to say about this place. The location of the apartment was fantastic, right within walking distance of city center and many local attractions. The apartment itself may have been dated but it was clean. The check in was a little confusing at first since the apartment was not in the location of the check in. With that being said, it was a self check in so it did allow for some flexibility so I can’t complain about it too much.

Okay buckle up. So the first problem was that the apartment we got was not the one showed in the pictures. Next, let’s discuss the bathroom. Upon arrival I opened what I thought was the bathroom door but only held a sink and shower inside. Confused I opened the next door to find a broom closet with a toilet in it. This proved to be a problem during our stay. One of our travelers is 5’4” or 163cm and was not able to shut the door while using the toilet. I however was just slim enough to get the door shut but my nose was touching the wall while sitting. On top of that there was a circuit breaker box above my head while sitting on the toilet which made it difficult to get up. Being a young athlete there may not be a more demoralizing feeling than struggling to get off the toilet bowl. The shower was inconsistent and would mostly be freezing cold with a few second bursts of boiling hot water. There was also random light fixtures, electrical sockets and wires that were just sticking out of the walls. Continuing, on our second night the building lost power. This was mostly a problem because there was a heat wave and our fans stopped working. When power did come back on it was as if it was operating at 50% because the lights wouldn’t fully turn on and the fans would work in 20 second bursts. While the location was great, with that comes the noise of the city. While slightly expected, it should be noted that it was very loud outside the window until 3AM some nights. The room was affordable so I didn’t expect a 5 star hotel…. But it certainly wasn’t close to it. I think for young people just looking to party for a few days it would probably be fine but traveling with family like I did would not stay here again.

Stairs to the 4th floor- lift only goes to third. Flat is quite small and basic, we had 2 teenagers with us who can’t share a bed. On,y two queen size beds so one had to sleep one the floor, which was hard, and there wasn’t any spare bedding so 4 people had to share two sets of bedding which was not great. Beds comfy enough, location great but drunk people,et shouting at 3am not that great.

The toilet is too small and smelly too! Long walk with heavy luggage to get the key to access the apartment. The owner could have emailed their customers to have one person go get the key, the rest wait at the 'apartment'.
