"Suitable for cheaper, short stays when the only important thing is location"

6.0

Can’t beat the location

The fridge didn’t work, had to toss groceries that weren’t kept cold. Toilet room is so small you have to open the door when you’re ready to stand up or risk hitting your head on the box mounted to the wall. Due to its location over a bar it is extremely loud while the bar is open. Not sure if the dishwasher was also out of service or if there was just some trick to turning it on I couldn’t figure out.

Excellent location, beautiful property.

Sometimes too noisy outside since there’s no insulation (understandably since it’s a UNESCO protected building). Also only one bathroom, which was not ideal for a group of 7 travellers.

it was an easy self checkin and the location was great

we didn't stay in the apartment we booked and when I texted them to ask why no one replied about the change, we had a 3 storey apartment which was inconvenient to some of us as it was tiring to keep on going up and down.

"Appartement 8 has a great view"

7.0

Imagine a place where old meets new, in the middle of Europe, often bypassed, its way more than just for fries, beer, chocolate and waffles! Brussels is a grand city, full of culture, history, and artistic energy. It’s a melting pot of many cultures living together, a lively nightlife and a culinary heaven. From my room I could admire the famous Grande Place, a square with magnificient buildings and a rich history, guarded by the tiny Manneken Pis. Under a vibrant sun, or a deluge, the weather changes rapidly, and gives the city a different pallet. In the Royal Saint-Hubert Galleries, it's where I had the perfect café and delectable gauffres! The grand Cathedral, an ancient Gothic-style building, erected on top of the city, is where you ca appreciate crunchy Belgian fries, creamy pralines, and a vast selection of scrumptious beer. Merci Belle Bruxelles!

No internet, slow involvement of owners, no electricity in part of the appartement, noisy at night because of bar undervthe building

"Fine for a couple of nights only!"

5.0

The location. Very central. There are 2 properties, 5 minutes apart from each other. Whichever one you are allocated, you will be very central.

There was a drain smell in the toilet and shower room which wasn't nice. It did look like it had been cleaned on arrival but the whole place could do with an overhaul, it's pretty grubby looking. We were above a pub which was extremely noisy at night. My "kids" are in their mid/late teens and so we weren't too badly affected, however with young kids this could be a bit of a nightmare. The beds weren't very comfy. The fridge didn't work, neither did the dishwasher. We were only there for 2 nights so these moans were all manageable. However if we'd been there much longer we may have been a wee bit more miserable!

Location is excellent in central Brussels

Having to pick up keys in office located in different location than the apartments (even if there is only a 5 min. walk between them)
