Though difficult to find once there you will love everything. Beautiful grounds and wonderful swimming pool, relaxing. Luxurious, wonderful

We are just back from a two-weeks stay in Sicily, and we have been to many great hotels during that time. But I must say that Borgo Pantano is the best hotel we have been in Sicily.The staff is very friendly and the surroundings are ideal. We were to try different restaurants in Siracusa, but instead we had dinner at the hotel restaurant during our entire stay, and did not regret it.The buffet breakfast is exquisite, cannot ask for better.We did not have a GPS, and we had a hard time finding the hotel, because you wonder if you are in the right direction, since you are travelling on a small country road. But it was all worth it.

Lovely pool area, lots of space to relax and very helpful staff. The food was much better than I would have expected for a relatively small hotel and the menu changed daily. The rooms and suites were stylish and comfortable. All in all, a fantastic hotel for a relaxing break.

This establishment is exceptional. The staff, in particular are always cheerful, eager to help and considerate. The hotel grounds are a pleasure and very originally furnished.

Beauty, serenity in abundance. From the moment you arrive you dread leaving. Complete wind down territory. Restaurant a slight let down though and we ended up eating out every evening ... Cant wait to return though year after year. Thank you to all the lovely staff at Borgo Panatano for such a great stay

Spent one night at Borgo Pantano with my family this August. We had 2 lovely rooms (including a free upgrade to a triple suite which was a nice surprise!). Evening meal was good but breakfast even better - a huge choice was offered at the buffet. Pool was lovely with huge choice of seating & beds (great fun for the children) also beach towels were freely available. Staff spoke excellent English & were very helpful & courteous. An excellent base for a short stay.

My family and I came to this hotel not knowing what to expect. We were all pleasantly surprised by how much of a "resort" atmosphere existed, and how clean and comfortable the accomodations were. Upon reception, the staff was very engaging and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure that we were properly checked in, and that we had a list of sites to see in Siracusa along with directions. The rooms are clean, and appear to have been either recently restored or are not that old. Also, there is plenty of airconditioning if required so environmental comfort is NOT an issue. The pool area is wonderful. You could spend the entire day on the resort and not feel closed in or bored. The grounds are in "restort style" condition and very appealing to just hang around, and relax with a few drinks while taking in the serenity of your surroundings. The Hotel Restaurant: A complimentary breakfast is included in the room price, and is excellent! Dinner is good, but the prices are a little higher than I would have expected. I will certainly visit this hotel/resort again, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND this resort to any one travelling through Siracusa. Grazie per tutti cosi, Borgo Pantano!

Hotel grounds and pool were beautiful. Hotel staff were very helpful. Difficult to find without a satnav but worth it when you get there. Great breakfast

Beautiful hotel, great service. We had so much fun there.

We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. We weren't expecting such beautiful grounds. The staff were gracious and friendly and made us feel at home. The pool area was gorgeous, the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was wonderful! The hotel is a 15-minute ride from the main sights in town. Because it's in the countryside, it's not so easy to find, so it's a good idea to bring along a navigation aid.
