"Fantastic B&B"

We have just returned from a wonderful two night stay at probably the best and cleanest b&b we have ever stayed in. Perfect hosts, amazing breakfasts and tastefully decorated room. Just a short walk into Windermere and great base to explore the Lake District.

"five stars service"

The room was very beautiful, nice, spacious, and confortable. A lot of details you only found in a five stars service... fresh flowers, homemade cookies in the room, sherry... All very clean and smell delicious

"Convenient location and great place to explore "

"Cozy cottage, close to the lake"

We spent May 27th and 28th in this cozy and comfy cottage. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by the couple who then showed us to a beautiful, well decorated and well maintained room. Our stay was very pleasant with excellent continental breakfast. Highly rated and definately recommended to fellow travelers.

"Excellent place to stay"

Excellent place to stay for a wonderful time. Located half way between Windermere and Bowness. Welcome was very friendly with home made cakes and cookies at reception. Room was clean with big comfy bed and more home made cookies and fresh flowers. Chilled fresh milk and lemon water in the fridge. Breakfast was wonderful with quality ingredients. Would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend Glenville House to others.

"Wonderful Stay at Glenville House"

An Easter Break which was a wonderful stay that I would recommend to anyone!! The room we stayed in was large with everything in its place. A warm welcome as you walked in to find complimentary home made cakes and biscuits for all to enjoy. Very clean rooms and breakfast was excellent. This was a superb location for ease of walking to the lake/town. I would highly recommend Glenville House to anyone. It is not often I do a revue, but felt this deserved a write up!!
