"Lovely stay and accommodating"

Very welcoming on arrival as we arrived early, we asked if we could use the car park. As well as being able to, our room was also ready to store out stuff. Room was very clean and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was spot on, with a variety on offer and an actual menu! Service was quick with a smile. Very nice stay and only a ten minute walk to the town.

"Central hotel with free parking"

Excellent friendly hotel with high standards of cleanliness, homemade biscuites and iced lemon water in the room during our stay. Nothing too much trouble for the owners. Breakfast excellent, lots of choice, served in a light airy dining area. Will definately stay again and highly recommend. Bonus of off street free private car parking on site.

Ideal location for exploring the area. Gorgeous room where every aspect of comfort and convenience has been thought of. Excellent breakfast with fantastic selection. Highly recommend a stay.

"Fantastic place"

Lovely bnb from the moment we arrived to when we departed. We received a very warm welcome even though we arrived for check in early. Presented with a bedroom which was in a lovely condition with homemade cookies and other nice touches available in the room. Great location in the middle of Bowness and Windermere (10min walk to each). Breakfast was fantastic. Overall, cant fault Glenville House and would definitely recommend.

"Excellent B&B short walk from centre of Windermere"

Fantastic weekend staying at the Glenville House. Breakfast was high quality. On Sunday I had to miss my full English due to running a marathon, the porridge was first class and helped fuel me through the race. The freshly baked cakes and biscuits were a great treat and lovely extra touch!
