Lovely friendly owners. Room really comfortable and clean. Excellent breakfast. Good parking and an easy walk to either Windermere or Bowness.

We had an amazing stay at Glenville House. The property is ideally located between Bowness and Windermere, and walkable to both. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts and the room was lovely - very comfy bed and lots of extra little touches which made for a great stay. The breakfast was incredible, perfect fuel for a day out exploring the lakes. Overall highly recommended and we will be back!

Myself and my husband stayed 3 nights. Friendly welcome, homemade biscuits in the room along with milk and water in the fridge and fresh flowers in the window. Good size room, comfy bed and very clean. Breakfast was amazing with a good choice and excellent service. Convenient location walkable to both Windermere and Bowness.

I and my husband stayed at Glenville house for two nights. The room was on the upper floor room 7, it had a nice view, was well furnished, with a good bathroom and very clean. However, the room had no air conditioning, just a table fan. The location was within a walking distance to Windermere centre. The breakfast was tasty, an English breakfast with a very good continental buffet. The parking was convenient and there was a place to sit in the garden.
