Kn Hotel Arenas del Mar Adults Only

Hotel clean, nice staff, very modern inside, pool and sunbed area nice. Food is ok id say for a short stay or repetitive and boring. Entertainment staff - lack off. They say adults only but lacks Entertainment.. bingo is boring.. great for oaps though. 2 members of staff said the hotel is boring to work for and aims for only oaps all year round.. one decided to tell us he does drugs to keep the long hours going!!! What a delight. The spa is so expensive, I get spas are but when the other guests say its very high for such little treatment... helps others stay clear!! Overall the location is great for wind surfers but nothing about the area unless travel into Los cristianos etc. We went to book thr market on the specified market day from the vip travel which was stated at reception but was told not running. So either had to pay 80 euro return or bus it for 1.5hrs! So ended up bored back at the hotel. Glad only done 4 days and no more though.. wouldn't recommend to those who likes relaxation but also like some entertainment.

Really nice hotel, good selection of drinks on the all-inclusive package and the location is spot on, right on a quiet beach, 10 minute walk from a beautiful town. Nice and quiet. Very windy location! Be prepared but that's just the area. Only let down would be the food, not the best, and not the best variety.

We got back from this lovely hotel last night. The place is spotless and beautiful. The sea views are wonderful and we loved watching the windsurfers. El Medano is a small but lively town which is only about 4 minutes away (less than 5 euros) by taxi or a 15 min walk mostly along the beach. The staff are all exceptionally kind and welcoming. The food was varied and plentiful and flavoured beautifully. This is a great place for relaxation and not for the party crowd. There are games and evening entertainment if you want them however, and the entertainment team of the super friendly and fun Tiago and Jonathan are so fun and great to hang out with. We have already booked to return in September and can’t wait!

The staff were excellent. Always helpful and friendly. The reception staff are exceptionally good and multilingual. We had a junior suite at the front of the hotel which didn’t have any sunshine cast on it at all. As a result it made the room slightly on the chilly side. Extra blankets needed to be requested. One night early hours we were woken up to the sound of headboard banging & grunting which was interesting haha!! When on holiday….. We went all inclusive - Drink quality except for Amstel beer was a bit sub standard. Cheap form of Baileys (Tenerife equivalent). Food was ok. Plenty of it but it was very samey. If you are here for more than a week you could quite easily get bored of it. The location of the hotel is slightly remote & only a 20 minute walk from El Medano which is a nice little town. There are plenty of restaurants and bars there. It is a great place to watch the windsurfers & the occasional busker. Overall for what we paid we can’t complain. My motto is you generally get what you pay for!!

Nice for quiet few days get away. Lovely rooms although memory foam mattress is not for me. A little more drawer space would have been nice. Food good..for a week. Shop right next door, bonus. All inclusive drinks usual not brilliant but they never are. I took my own plastic cup which they were happy to fill. Lovely front staff and bar staff. It is a windy corner but there's always somewhere a little more sheltered. Great fashion show around the pool. Entertainment until 12 but I only bobbed down a couple of times and there's music if you want a dance. They are accommodating so just ask if you need anything.

L’emplacement proche de Medano (15 min à pied) la piscine chauffée. Proche aéroport, pratique. Literie confortable. Restaurant El Ancla excellent
