The Tangerine - a Burbank Hotel

Location was excellent. Good restaurants within walking distance. Room was decent. Staff was excellent. Pool lovely. Free coffee or tea 24/7. Safe quiet neighborhood. All kinds of shopping near by. Universal Studios within 15 minutes away.

Great rooms, quiet location, free coffee and pastries for breakfast and lots of good restaurants all within a block. Close to the movie studios and universal.

We loved our stay here! The front desk was so helpful answering our questions about things to do. The room was very clean and comfortable. Parking is free and fresh pastries, coffee and tea are available in the mornings. We would definitely stay here again. Wonderful place close to restaurants, shops and walking.

We loved this place! We wanted to find an area centrally located enough, but not too deep into the city life of LA. Burbank provided a perfect in between for us, and this hotel was great. We chose to walk to our Warner Bros. studio tour from this hotel and it was very pleasant. There are also several great dining options just a few minutes walk away. The pastries were a nice touch, however they are limited, and on one of our mornings they were gone before we got down to them. Since it was winter, we didn't get the chance to use the pool, but it looked very nice and clean. The room was spacious and the staff was wonderful providing great recommendations, and a friendly face. I will say, the room smelled a little strange when we first arrived, but outside of that, it felt pretty clean and the smell went away by the time we got back from dinner that night. We look forward to coming back one day.

I was honestly a little hesitant booking The Tangerine because of the 2.5-star rating classification, but this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I was even upgraded for free, which was such a nice surprise. The room was spotless, spacious, comfortable, and had a really fun boutique vibe that felt much more upscale than I expected for the price point. The location is also fantastic — convenient to everything in Burbank while still feeling relaxed and quiet. I specifically requested a quieter room and they were very accommodating. This is one of those rare places that delivers way more than you expect. Great value, great service, and I would absolutely stay here again.
