The Tangerine - a Burbank Hotel

We had a great experience. Comfortable rooms, great customer service! Super cute boutique hotel! Also had a celebrity sighting at the restaurant next door.

We had the best experience here. From the second we checked in with Denny/Danny was just amazing. She was such a delight. And she was so helpful with so much info about everything and for our trip to Universal Studios. I have 3 kids with autism and she gave us so many tips to make our trip easier. Housekeeping was so nice as well. The room was super clean. The beds were comfortable. The pool was so much fun eventhough it was kinda raining we still managed to get a quick swim in lol we will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend.

Such a good location! Loved the American motel vibes. Staff were so friendly and so helpful with giving us tips and tricks for our first time in Los Angeles. There was free coffee whenever you wanted and an ice machine by the pool which was so handy. The rooms were very clean and modern. Parking was also free which is great

The hotel is in a very nice location and has a lovely heated pool. It was easy walking distance to coffee shop and good dining. Short distance from key locations like WB and Disney. Room was very clean and had nice decorations. I appreciated the Gilchrist & Soames bath products in the bathroom.

Best spot in Burbank for sure. Easy check in Sheri (sp?) accommodated all requests. Our 3 night stay was in room 234, easy to see entire motel but away from the street. Even though it was so quiet at night, couldn't believe I was in a bigger city. Breakfast bake goods and coffee were great and when I told Dani we would be leaving early then the breakfast the next day, she offered to give us some to take or enjoy at 5:30 am. A special treat is coffee/tea 24/7 in the lobby. We enjoyed late afternoon pick me up on the lounge chairs by pool. Way to wind down a busy tour day. Everyone there was professional, helpful and kind. You won't regret staying at this location.

Very nice and comfortable place to stay in a calm and safe area which is only an 8-minute drive from Universal Studios. The suite was clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and is available 24/7

Everything was great there

Excellently located next to multiple cinema studios, with Warner Bros. tour within a walking distance. Lots of wonderful spots to eat and explore in the vicinity. Ours was a fresh and newly renovated room with comfortable beds and amenities.

One improvement that I would appreciate is additional hangers for towels in the bathroom, and maybe also a little shelf in the tub itself.

The parking situation is limited, but I never had a problem getting a spot in the front or book. I like the orange theme and design. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff did an excellent job. I saw them wiping down the air conditioning units and sweeping outside. The only issue I had was noise from the pool. It was much worse than I expected. It was shrieking, hooting & screaming from groups of children. Their parents obviously weren't telling them to keep it down. Having fun is fine, but there are limits. Everyone should be considerate in public spaces where their actions affect others. I asked the person at the front desk about it, and she said she can't ask them to keep the noise down. I asked if she heard how loud it was. She said she had the door to the office open, and she didn't think there was a problem. Then, I said I guess I'm not welcome here. Then, she said I was and that she would call the manager. She called back and said she will speak to them and keep an eye out for more noise going forward. After that, the noise wasn't a problem. Later that week, another staff member talked to a family doing a sword fight in the parking lot. I don't know why they were doing that. The 3 star review is because initially the staff was not supportive with the pool noise issue. There seemed to be some kind of a feeling that it's cruel to children to ask the parents to ask them to keep the noise down.
