The Tangerine - a Burbank Hotel

Wonderful experience! The hotel was comfortable and quiet for sleeping! The front desk manager was amazing. I wish I knew her name but she works Monday thru Friday mornings/afternoons and she couldn’t have been more kind, hospitable or helpful! Can’t say enough about her. The pool was great too. My kids and I fully enjoyed our experience

Close to everything, Universal Studios, movie theaters, restaurants, shopping. The hotel was looked after, old and with vintage decor, I liked that. Area was very busy lots of traffic but quiet inside for sleeping. Good water pressure, hot water fast. The bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. Everything was there including pastry for breakfast and free parking.

Had a great stay at Tangerine Hotel. The hotel is clean, modern, and very well maintained. The rooms feel fresh and comfortable, and everything was spotless throughout my stay. The staff truly stands out. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made the experience even better. The location is another major highlight. The hotel is very walkable, with excellent dining options just steps away, including The Mouth and Smoke House Restaurant, both great choices for an easy and delicious meal. Donut Prince is also right down the street and is a must-stop for classic donuts. On top of that, the hotel offers quick and easy freeway access, making it very convenient to get around the area. Overall, an excellent stay and I would absolutely recommend it.

The Tangerine Hotel experience exceeded my expectations. We had a 5-night stay. The beds were comfortable, high quality sheets and comforter, fun colors for the comforter and pillows. The room was very clean and the maid service was daily. The office staff was friendly and helpful, giving recommendations for the local restaurants. Every morning a variety of fresh pastries was in the lobby, and coffee and tea as well as filtered water were available 24/7. The location was in a safe, quieter part of Burbank and there was easy access to the freeway. We loved the fun, funky atmosphere of the hotel.

My best friend and I stayed for two nights to spend the day at Universal Studios Hollywood. This location is top-notch - it's right off the highway but hidden away in a quiet neighborhood, right at the foot of the Hollywood Hills and within walking distance to the Warner Brothers Tower, a 10-minute drive to the theme park, and next door to multiple restaurants (we LOVE Don Cuco's Mexican food and Jinya Ramen Bar). The facilities are clean, the pool is heated year-round, and the pillows are incredibly comfortable. Each room offers a nostalgic, retro feel with a unique wall mural, and you won't want to miss the pastries and coffee machine in the lobby each morning.

Due to the storm all my three flights were canceled and we did not arrive until close to midnight. Check in was a breeze and the availability of a coffee machine that can whip up a late or espresso in the lobby was extra appreciated. In the day of checkout, we found out that our flight from Burbank to Fort Worth was canceled. Instead my flight was rebooked to the next day departing from Los Angeles. The Tangerine was very accommodating since they need to extend my stay another day. To make a long story short, we stayed another day. The motel was clean, classical in style and comfortable. But as any hotel stay, what is important is that the staff will pull through for your needs. The Tangerine certainly did.

Great experience. I came in at 1 PM and asked for a room. My room wasn’t ready, but they accommodated me anyway. In the morning, they have pastries for breakfast and they had the best chocolate chip muffin I’ve ever had. The space is simple and quiet. I will definitely stay here again.

This is a pleasant place. The staff was nice. My only criticisms are these 1 It says "includes breakfast". What it includes is a pastry. Not really breakfast. 2 The light from the outside was VERY bright in my room, making it hard to sleep. Yes they have blackout blinds, but if they aren't perfectly closed, it's hard to sleep. Still, it is a charming place.
