Hotel & Residence Calais Car Ferry

Staff were all friendly and helpful. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room which most places have these days. It was basic and practical for a one night stay, but I wouldn't like to stay there for a week. I'd stay there again if I was travelling on though.

The hotel was just as expected for the room rate. Rooms were clean and comfortable; staff were friendly and welcoming. Good location, close enough to the centre of Calais (providing you have a car although there seems to be a good local bus service). The only adverse comment I would make is that the breakfast options were somewhat limited and when these run out they don't seem to be replenished. Overall I was very happy with my stay at the Hotel Balladins Calais Confort.

good location,nice and clean. Good value. What more do you need for an overnight stop.

Small room, small bathroom, typical french budget chain hotel - THIS MUST BE THE LEAST SOUNDPROOF HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN - and I have stayed in some bad ones - but hin the hotel you could hear everything fron all the surrounding rooms, very clearly - TAKE EAR PLUGS..........

Good value hotel for an overnight stop. Comfy bed and clean room. However, location was a bit difficult to find without Satnav, as it was some way out of town. More specific directions to hotels could be useful as 'Google' maps are not always clear!

We arrived and the hotel had allocated us a room on the first floor but we have a disabled son so they rectified this by allocating us a ground floor room but this was rather small so the lady spoke to her manager and allowed us to change to a disabled room which was very adequate

Very accessible and ample parking; comfortable rooms but damaged shower

we found that the reception is not manned 24hours and so the guests tend to be noisy, we did not get a wink of sleep all night, televisions blareing and people running around shouting in the corridors late at night. we would never ever book this place again. i would like a refund for the booking as i would have had a better nights sleep in my car in the car park. but somehow i dont think this is a posability.as the place is so run down i dont think they would have the money to pay me back. regards dave hall

You get what you pay for. No restaurant or bar at the hotel

Not a room you'd want to spend much time in, but clean comfortable beds, a warm room and a good shower. 10 mins drive from the ferry and very good value. Can't rate the staff, as I arrived late, checked in by machine and left early.
