Hotel & Residence Calais Car Ferry

Small room, not enough light to read, but some English TV stations when the reception came in. It was clean and we slept well.

You'll be pleased to stay at this hotel if you set your expectations accordingly - it's a low cost hotel that meets the bare minimum requirements for cleanliness and comfort. It's great for a quick overnight stop while traveling through northern France but nothing more.

Clean, basic and close to the Eurotunnel which is why I booked it. The main drawback of this hotel is the thin walls. I could hear the conversation of my neighbours and someone snoring ALL night - so no sleep.

Perfectly adequate and good value.

Good value. It is just a place to overnight en route between places. Better than a lot of others costing more.

Inexpensive , clean, basic hotel . Recently redecorated public area's. Short drive from ferry port. Good if you just need somewhere to sleep.

The hotel is conveniently placed to stay over after crossing the channel. The rooms are pretty basic with us finding the beds a bit too hard for comfort, but it is great that one can arrive at any time and the staff are always very friendly in the morning.

no sleep, dog barking most of the night, no hot water, no remote for the tv, pubic hair on the toilet seat.

Although a budget hotel the levels of friendliness and service from all staff are very high. Rooms are clean, warm and comfortable. No frills amenities, but this is to be expected (e.g no kettle in the room, take your own). The TV has UK channels including digital radio. Breakfast is basic while still being satisfactory.Not in the centre of town however well placed for an overnight/short stay and close to local shops. Overall an it more than met my expectations.

Spotlessly clean and quite comfortable, but could do with a lift to get to the upstairs floor.
