Romantik Hotel Wilden Mann Luzern

Perfecte uitvalsbasis om Luzern te verkennen. Aardig personeel en ruime kamer. Je kun wandelend de oude stad heel goed verkennen. Het was warm (32 graden) in de stad, maar gelukkig was er een airco in de ruimte. Die maakte wel geluid, maar koelde de ruimte goed. Ook het eten “s avonds in het hotel was erg goed.

Het parkeren van de auto gebeurde in een parkeergarage heel dicht bij de locatie. Alleen de ruimten voor de auto’s erin was erg nauw. Maar het lukte wel - met enig geduld.

Had a couple of nights in this wonderful hotel. The beautiful interiors and position in the city is perfect. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and our room was stunning. 211 I loved the traditional style and beautiful antiques. Also the double sinks and a walk in shower and a bath. Breakfast was good and we ate it on the fabulous terrace there.

Nous avons regretté l'absence de climatisation car nous avons été contraints de fermer la fenêtre à cause du bruit de la rue jusqu'à 4h du matin.Des gens ivres qui crient et chantent au milieu de la nuit!Dommage!

There are hotels… and then there are places that become part of your story. Romantik Hotel Wilden Mann was, without question, my favorite place from my entire trip to Switzerland. As a solo traveler, feeling welcomed matters, and the staff here went far beyond that. Friendly, warm, genuinely kind… and somehow they actually remembered you. It never felt transactional. It felt personal. They even held my luggage before check-in and had it waiting in my room when I arrived, which was such a thoughtful touch after traveling. The hotel itself is pure magic. Over 500 years old, filled with charm and character around every corner. Beautiful old-world details, cozy sitting areas, complimentary coffee and tea, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you slow down and breathe a little deeper. My room was beautiful, the bed incredibly comfortable, and every space felt thoughtful and inviting. The location was perfect, with easy walking access to cafés, shops, and the Chapel Bridge — but one of my favorite parts was knowing that after wandering all day, I got to come back here at night. I absolutely loved it here. A truly special place that I will remember for a very long time. (And PS - breakfast? Amazing. Lots of selection in a beautiful space)

There was a warmth to this hotel. It felt cozy and welcoming. A gem in the city. It was conveniently located.

The internet is not available in room 102. When asked the first person said maybe they will reset router. The next morning rude front desk lady said nothing they will do. We just have to accept it. That room should NOT be given to people who require internet. I had to sit in the hall to get internet access. It was inconvenient to say the least.
