Was not quite what I had expected but overall was a pleasant stay. The beds where extremely comfortable.

When we checked in, the reception looked simple, but staff was friendly. We took the lift to first floor and carried our luggage. The first floor, where all the rooms, are is very contemporary looking and gives warm and welcoming feeling. Room interiors are tasteful, but curtains look dull due to matching colors. The lunch at next door restaurant and dinner at Pizzeria were great, authentic tasting, and value for money meals. Parking is free and plenty in front of the hotel.

I have planned my 1 month holiday in Europ with my partner for our anniversary with careful decision on hotels! we spend 6 days in Italy and because of your hotel marinaplace I chose to stay one night at Genoa, because we want to experience the harbour with sea view so we booked the most expensive room! However when we check in today, we have been told due to human mistake our room is given to another customer! This is not acceptable! With the time we have spend to do the research on hotel rating and customer review and we chose marinaplace out of hundreds of other hotels, but we are given the last left standard room! Ivan is very helpful and apologied but we expect a full refund and not to mention we wasted one night here in Genoa in the Standard room with car park view. Fantastic! Everything was excellent!

Great stop off for the airport. Nice quiet surroundings with a small selection of restaurants/bars in walking distance. We were very impressed with the breakfast buffet and particularly the American pancake machine! Also the staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

Very comfortable bed, huge shower, wi-fi was excellent

Everyone from the driver to the front desk was excellent. Restaurant great food friendly staff. The Rose wine is the best w ravioli meat sauce!

Excellent stay at the Marina place. We had a Modern room with balcony overlooking the marina. It was very peaceful. Staff were very helpful. Nice restaurants and bars on the marina for the evening. Convenient stay next to the airport.

Clean hotel , close to the airport. A little far from central Genoa. Train is close by, but it entails a good walk. The marina area comes alive with Italian locals at night, which is quite nice. Staff is efficient and welcoming. Restaurant staff is super. Food is great and restsuranrt manager goes out of his way to please you . Bravo ! Recommended if you want something a little different during your stay in. Genoa.

Overall the hotel is in good condition but the service and hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. There were mosquitos in our room, dead mosquitos swimming in the breakfast. The eggs served at the breakfast was so overcooked that it was green. The table clothes were all covered by stains and actual dirt from Saturday evening. The knifes and forks had good stains drying in the dishwasher as they were not prewashed. Awful experience -- if care was given to service and hygiene it can be a great business hotel but stay away from this unfortunately low hygiene hotel....
