The hotel is a little difficult to find and the entrance is not all that clear at first but the service at reception was very pleasant and efficient and the the room was incredible. Room 29 had the biggest balcony I have ever seen. There was 2 sun loungers, table and chairs and masses of space. The view over the harbour full of superyachts was absolutely incredible. The bathroom was also very well appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. I will definitely be returning.

This is a very stylish and comfortable hotel. They have a very nice looking restaurant, although if you exit the hotel on the marina side and go right a couple hundred yards, you can find a fantastic restaurant for fresh focaccia and pizza. The hotel is near the airport, but they do not have a shuttle, and a taxi will cost about US $30.
Don't let the position near the airport put you off, this is not an airport hotel. Great vies across the Marina with a balcony overlooking it from the room. Room was much better than the average too.

Great room, great views, great food, easy airport access
Very nice business hotel in the heart of the Aeropuerto marina. Next to airport. Serveral nice restaurants right next door, nice restaurant for dinner in hotel. Nothing else around except marina and shipyards. 20 minute walk into Sestri Ponente, 15 minute walk to train station, you have to use stairs to go over tracks and back down to get to station and town. Hotel rooms are very nice, the steam shower/sauna is great, other rooms have huge balcony over looking marina.
I travelled with my wife, daughter and son-in-law. We stayed overnight in the MarinaPlace Hotel following a cruise and before making our return flight home the following day. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast was more than adequate to satisfy our needs. Its location on the marina, with several good bars and restaurants is a definite plus point. The only drawback to the location is that we had to endure a bit of 'boat envy' whilst looking at some of the millionaires' playthings that were moored on the marina. Despite that, I would certainly stay again
Although a little difficult to find, the hotel was otherwise perfect in every way - friendly reception, a beautiful modern room and an enormous balcony overlooking the yachts in the marina. Parking was easy and free of charge. We will definitely return!
