Absolutely loved our stay here at Maya Caprice. We stayed 4 nights and loved Wengen and the area so much. The view from our room was stunning. Even when it rained and got foggy. The room was comfortable. The service was very friendly and so helpful. The food was wonderful. We ate breakfast every morning and we had a great variety with made to order eggs and espresso drinks along with a breakfast buffet with a variety of fresh and delicious items. We had the 3 course dinner menu for 64chf per person twice and it was the best food we had in Switzerland. A fair price for high quality food and service. They were happy to store our bikes in the ski room and provided an extension cord to help charge them. They kindly answered so many of my questions! And the hotel is so convenient being so close to town and the trains but still felt a world away from the busyness of Lauterbrunnen and Grindewald. So happy this is the hotel we picked to stay at. Highly recommend without hesitation to stay here on your visit to the area.

The location of Maya Caprice could not be better, so close to the little train station. The view from our room was stunning. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, Breakfast and cappuccinos were delicious. The hot tub was lovely but could be just a few degrees warmer.

Amazing property with unmatched views of the Lauterbrunnen valley and surrounding mountains. Rooms were updated, spotless and roomy. Sauna and hot tub were a great way to end a day of hiking, biking or exploring- but what stands out for us most was the amazing staff at this property! Sonja was extraordinary and saw to our every need whether we requested assistance or not, as were the rest of the team. The restaurant served dinners that were as good as any we had on our two week trip (thank you Daniel). Without a doubt, our favorite property we stayed in during our 3-country journey. If we get back to Wengen again, there will only be one hotel that we will consider- The Maya Caprice!

Amazing small cosy hotel, be sure to book mountain side views as it is one of the best views in the area! Breakfast was yummy with fresh eggs to order. Staff lovely and polite. Spa is included which is a great touch, the hot tub was amazing facing the mountains and one of the main reasons I booked this place, although it was cold a couple of nights, they had just had a new and larger hot tub installed so were some teething issues I think, but they made sure it was warm when asked in advance. Dinner was lovely, especially the pizza -so delicious. Amazing value for money hotel!

The most amazing views. 2 bedroom/ 1 bath accommodations were perfect for our trip. Restaurant was excellent. Conveniently located near train and little town. Staff was excellent. Spa service was excellent. Overall great hotel & stay !!!

You are only paying for the beautiful view of Wengen and the convenience of being nearby the train station. However, the place is old, and there are few options for relaxing. The spa has only the sauna and showers and an open door jacuzzi which is small and the "gym" was only some dumbbells and a lonely walking machine not very complete. The breakfast was OK but lacked other options besides just only scrambled/fried eggs. I think for the price I paid I was expecting something else besides the view.

You can’t beat the panoramic view of the Swiss alps. We had the suite room and it’s perfect room. The sauna and spa was superb.Kudos to Daniel, he is very helpful.All the staff from the dining area are good. Thank you we’re coming back😍
