Paradise Isle Beach Resort

We stayed at Paradise Isle Beach Resort with family for 3 nights / 4 days during the Christmas period. The location is the only real highlight—the resort sits right on Malpe Beach, which is beautiful and peaceful. Unfortunately, everything else fell short, especially considering the festive pricing, which was almost three times the usual rate. We booked a Sea Facing Premium Room, but there was nothing premium about it. The room was small, fittings were old, and the overall feel of the property is dated. The website mentions bathtubs, but there were none in our room. When we checked with reception, we were told bathtubs were removed due to leakage issues-yet the room continues to be sold at a premium price. The entire property clearly needs a major revamp. Service and hospitality were disappointing: In the restaurant, no one comes to take orders unless you call for staff. Water was never refilled proactively. There was no courtesy or warmth-not even a simple “Thank you for staying with us” or “Hope you had a good stay.” Food was very expensive and average in taste (we are vegetarians, so cannot comment on non-veg options). Overall, the resort seems to rely heavily on its location, but location alone cannot justify premium pricing. With better hospitality, upgraded rooms, and more transparency, this could be a good property-but in its current state, it is not value for money. Udupi is a lovely destination, and we would happily visit again—but I think not this resort.

We had a memorable stay without any hassles or issues. Staff were friendly and resourceful. Restaurants are good. This is right at the beach.

The property seems to be ill maintained ...understaffed or staffs not duly paid...dirt at places...pool under maintenance... intercom missing in one room... toile flush issues...food over priced

Hotel location is good, its just near malpe beach and hotel rooms are also nice

Staff behaviour.

Due to rain, there was a lot of water in my room. Although the overall stay was okayish, the basement was filled with water. The badminton court and pool table was in a very bad condition. When we went for swimming, there was a small kitten dead by the pool. When i informed the staff, they did not show too much concern about the fact and told us that we could use the pool and they will remove the cat. They did not care to clean the pool. Overall the cleanliness of the resort is really bad, needs a lot of maintenance. It is a lot of money for the sea facing rooms. Not worth the price.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay at Paradise Isle. The propoerty was on Malpe Beach. The staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our stay and sightseeing easy and comfortable!!!

Tout : l’accueil est déplorable : il n’a pas été possible de communiquer. Les chambres sont sales, il n’y a aucune isolation Le restaurant pour le petit déjeuner est repoussant de saleté. Cet hôtel est trop cher
