The restaurants and food were great - really impressed with the quality and choice at all of the outlets. The staff - they were so friendly and helpful, and accommodating of the needs of our small children too. Beautiful tropical feel to the whole hotel too - felt very relaxing. Really loved our stay and would visit again.

I think the play room could do with a bit of a makeover. It’s a nice space but quite dated and not many toys. Plus it could’ve been cleaner.

It was a nightmare! They did try to make amend by shifting us next day to a different category room, but the whole hassle left a bitter taste. A shoutout to the restaurant crew including pastry chef Amit and the other guy Saurav, who were efficient and sincere.

If I could give zero stars for this stay, I would. Our experience at the Alila Diwa Goa was an absolute disgrace and easily one of the lousiest 5-star hotel experiences I have ever endured. We booked the Family Suite—one of the most expensive room categories on the property—expecting a premium, comfortable stay. Instead, we were assigned Room 302 on the third level, only to discover that both elevators were entirely out of order. We were forced to take the stairs. My wife has a serious knee condition, making climbing three flights of stairs incredibly painful and difficult. The hotel completely failed to disclose this massive accessibility issue before we checked in. Had they been transparent, we would have absolutely chosen not to stay here. Beyond the unacceptable lift situation, the property itself feels incredibly dated. It may look shiny and impressive from the outside, but it is creaking and falling apart on the inside. To make matters worse, the centralized air conditioning in our suite’s living room was an absolute joke. There was absolutely no cooling whatsoever. Goa is currently hot and humid, and the inside of our expensive suite felt exactly the same as the outdoors. Key failures of this stay: Zero Accessibility: Both lifts broken with no prior warning for guests with mobility or knee issues. Failing Infrastructure: A dated property with non-functional centralized AC in premium suites. Uncaring Staff: The team seemed completely indifferent to our profound discomfort and the severe inconvenience caused by their broken amenities. This stay was a complete waste of a significant amount of money. When you pay for a 5-star experience, you expect basic amenities like working elevators and air conditioning, along with a staff that actually cares when things go wrong. Alila Diwa Goa failed on every single front. Avoid this property if you value your comfort, your money, and your peace of mind.

The hotel is great and the staff wonderful, every single one of the workers in Alila Diwa are extremely kind, proffesional, servicial and caring. Although they work endless shifts (you can see the same workers during breakfast, lunch and dinner) they always attend you with a smile and the most heartwarming attitude. Me and my husband fell sick during our stay and they called a doctor that saw us at the hotel room, and afterwards the hotel staff arranged the medicines that the doctor prescribed us. On our last day they surprised us with a piece of a delicious chocolate cake as a farewell. The nature that surrounds, and grows within the grounds, of the hotel is dreamy and beatiful, full of Banyan trees and different tropical plants that'll make you feel you're in the jungle (without the risks of being eaten by a tiger). The views to the Paddy Fields from the pool are also out of this world, where can you lie down by the pool while watching buffalos, cows, crows, peacocks and eagles roaming around freely near you? Seriously, stay at Alila Diwa Goa if you have the change, it will exceed your expectations. PS. All the food was delicious too.
