Embassy Suites San Antonio Riverwalk-Downtown

I was at the Embassy Suites Hilton River Walk Downtown for a conference, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to be helpful! And Nop made delicious omelets to order every morning. What a great way to start the day!

The hotel is wonderful concerning aesthetics and luxury feel. The bed, the decor, the rooms - all wonderfully created. The staff are lovely: pleasant, warm, inviting. A few points I didn’t like: the shampoo/conditioner doesn’t smell good. A poor version of Crabtree and Evelyn’s products. And the breakfast, while I so appreciate the made to order omelettes, the quality of the sausage, bacon, and condiments are a bummer. We are in an age where we know high fructose corn syrup is terrible for us. Why are you providing snickers jams, and JIFF peanut butter? If I have 5 days to eat with you, I would like something genuinely healthy.

Hotel is always our go to. Breakfast is always the best part of our stay. Breakfast cooks Josh & Noe are always very attentive as to how we like our food. 100% recommend!

Great location. Expensive parking (we parked across the street but after walking around, we found cheaper garage parking a block away- DO THIS.) The reception and breakfast was really nice. The front desk was super nice. PLEASE NOTE: I meant to tell management this before we left though: The pool needs to be drained and cleaned. There was broken glass all over the bottom. One of our kiddos actually had glass in his foot that we did some minor surgery on.

This hotel is located in within steps of the Riverwalk, restaurants, close to the Alamo and other areas of interest. We parked the car and walked everywhere during our stay! The free breakfast with omelette bar was delicious and we enjoyed the happy hour too.
