The Belmont

Excellent hosts, Des and Linda are very warm and friendly and can't do enough for you. The room was compact but comfortable and clean with a lovely soft bed, the pool is being refurbed and looks great. The breakfast was excellent. We liked the in-house shop for all the things you might have forgotten (including handbag and shoes!) and the honesty box. Plenty of parking in the private carpark. We only stayed one night but would happily go back.

Nothing really but a bit more pressure in the shower wouldn't go amiss!

Linda and Des are super friendly and helpful. There’s exceptional facilities using an honesty box approach: treats, bar, and toiletries etc. I was particularly pleased to have alternative milks offered as a ‘given’. Although early in the season, and not yet available, the pool is looking so inviting!

Lovely couple running the hotel, friendly and helpful. Great breakfast cooked to order. Our second stay at this hotel and hope to return again soon. Close to the Chine and the village.
