We stayed here from 21st to 27th December 2025, and it was our second stay here. It was a great stay; I really enjoyed the Christmas Eve dinner on the beach, and we booked Christmas dinner at the restaurant. It was an amazing and pleasant stay. The food was amazing, with many varieties of options, and the service was great and excellent.

The resort is beautiful- we stayed in an Oceanfront Villa with private pool…it was stunning! The staff have been so kind and gracious during our stay. We went to breakfast every morning, the Thai Buffet Dinner, and ate at Taeking as well as the Sandbox- all lovely meals! The cocktail menu could be reviewed and expanded. The spa was beautiful and had wonderful treatments to offer. The atmosphere cleanliness, style, and attentiveness was incredible. Dang from housekeeping was delightful and always took care of us during our stay doing a wonderful job. Overall we had a wonderful holiday and would stay again. Just an FYI for those who may want to frequent the city of Phuket- it is roughly an hour drive to Phuket. However we stayed mostly on the beach, in our pool, or around the resort the entire time.

We stayed at Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa for five nights with our two daughters, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, set on a stunning beach that feels peaceful and unspoiled. Although it’s in a quieter area, there was plenty to keep us entertained within the resort. When we did venture out, it was easy to explore—whether visiting Turtle Village nearby or taking Bolt taxis to Phuket Town, the Elephant Sanctuary, and Naka Market. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit everyone. We also really enjoyed dining at the Sandbox beach bar and the Thai restaurant. A highlight of our stay was the fire show on our last night—such a memorable experience. The kids club and kids’ pool were real standouts for us. There were so many activities (kids boxing, t-shirt making, foam party, bracelet making, treasure hunt), and our daughters were constantly having fun. A special thank you to Sea, Kirnan, Sun, Ning, Nina, Yo, Aree, and Job for making our trip extra special, and to Fab at reception for being so helpful throughout our stay.

It’s been almost a month since our stay at Renaissance Phuket at the end of the Chinese New Year holiday, and I’ve finally found time to write this review. I was quite busy before and after the holiday, so I truly appreciated the warm service that allowed us to fully relax and recharge. The location remains our favorite. Renaissance Phuket is very close to Phuket Airport (HKT), about a 20-minute taxi ride. This time, we tried the paid shuttle service and were picked up right after the exit gate. I highly recommend it if you want to avoid waiting for a Grab. You can book it via email. The atmosphere is purely relaxed and holiday-like. Even though the resort was fully booked this time (so we couldn’t upgrade to a villa), it never felt crowded. The resort doesn’t host too many guests at once, so even during peak season, we found our own peaceful corner to enjoy the beach, sea, and cocktails. As for the restaurants, we have a lot to say. Breakfast is served by the lagoon, where we enjoyed iced coffee, daily specials, and a variety of delicious pastries surrounded by birds, greenery, and sunshine. One pleasant surprise was the QR code ordering system at the table for drinks like coffee, tea, and juice. The drinks arrived within 15 minutes. It’s a smart initiative that enhances the guest experience while giving staff time to handle more urgent requests. Another great spot is Sandbox, right by the main pool and facing the sea. The margarita is a must-try—both the cocktail and the pizza are excellent. Trust me, you won’t regret it. For the spa, we visited QUAN Spa again. When we came in June 2025, it was under renovation, so treatments were held in a temporary room. This time, we enjoyed the full QUAN facility. It’s a truly soothing place, filled with the sounds of birds and water, along with sunlight and greenery. We forgot to reserve the signature hot stone treatment, but we’ll definitely try it next time. One more thing—if you visit, please take time to walk around the resort. Enjoy the paths, trees, lagoon, and gardens. Everything here reminds me to embrace nature, step away from crowds, and take care of my inner self. Lastly, thank you to Tanny, Boy, Summer, and the lady who previously worked on Boy’s team and hosted us at the Marriott Elite drinking event. Your kindness meant a lot to us. I truly look forward to coming back in late April and seeing you again soon!
