Excellent service from the English speaking host and hostess. Rooms were large, clean, and quiet. Dinner was delicious, so we ate there the second night as well. Breakfast buffet is adequate and worth the money. (No elevator, which wasn't a problem for us.)

The owners and staff at the hotel were all very friendly and gave excellent service. The dinners are superb. . The location is good only 10 minutes walk to the Chateau Amboise, so avoiding difficulty in parking in the town centre. Would definitely stay there again.

This was by far one of our favorite hotels. The staff is extremely friendly and fun. Hotel restaurant was fantastic. Full of charm!

The owner of the hotel took care of us. He didn't speak too much English, but he was so patient with my broken French. My aunt and I stayed very comfortably in a bedroom with a twin and double bed. We slept with the windows open and had no problem with late night revelers, because the hotel is 10 minutes off the central part of the city. I would most definetly stay again if I find myself in Amboise or even the Loire Valley, because the city proved to be very centrally located for day excursions throught out the valley.

We are so happy we picked this hotel. The owner and his wife were very friendly, accommodating and helpful with tourist information. The hotel is located just a block away from the train station. The hotel restaurant was cozy and cuisine was very delicious. The wine list also contains a good selection of local wines. One of the nice features of this hotel is the outdoor patio and large garden area. The rooms could use a little updating, but they were spacious and very comfortable.

We stayed one night in Amboise at La Breche in order to explore some chateaus in the Loire Valley. The hotel was an excellent all around choice and great value. While we had rented a car, it was easy to park nearby on the street, but the hotel is even more situated for those taking the train as the station is very close by. We decided to eat dinner at the restaurant and it was one of our better meals throuhout our two week trip in France. There is a continental breakfast (typical French breakfast, plus cereal and other items), free wifi, clean rooms and a great host (I'm forgetting his name!). It's about a 15 minute walk into the main area of Amboise.

Good location, quiet and peaceful even just 5 minutes walk to the train station. Room isreaaly small although there is a good size bathroom but needs update and a kettle for tea and coffee would be nice. Louisa

A really nice little hotel, the owners are very kind and want to please... The meal in the evening was excellent. Our room at the top of t he house was very cosy and the bed very comfortable with lovely bedding. Hot shower . Felt bathroom could do with a bit of updating. A great place to stay just ouside the town across the river. Would stay again. Great value for money.

enjoyed our stay (2 days) our hosts were very helpful nothing was too much trouble. restaurant was excellent and standard of food very good and very good value. Our rooms had been updated. one with a new bathroom. Situated over the river from the town but only a 10 minute walk and better for parking which can be difficult in the town itself. would definately stay here again.
