Canavial I & II Apartments

Really enjoyed our 9 day stay at the apartments Canavial 1 & 2, The staff including Teresa the manager and Isabel our cleaner very friendly and helpful. The place was spacious cleaned daily and outside and internal areas kept spotless. The studios have a small kitchenette and microwave suitable for cooking light meals. a fridge and a decent sized bathroom. Our room no 4 was by the pool so it was lovely to come out in the morning and go in for a swim. The pool was quiet most of the time( early Sept) a lot of people go to the beach so rarely more than 4-5 people around at the most. Beautiful location and the clifftop walks and 3 beaches are only between 5-15 minutes walk . It is about a 25 minute walk into town of 4-5 euro in an Uber or local taxi which can be obtained 24/7. A few bars and restaurants within 15 mins walk. We didn't have a car and found it really easy to get around -we went to Sagres and Silves by bus and train. The only negative was I found the beds a bit hard. Definitely would return next year.

Foi uma boa experiência, relaxante, boa localização, bons programas para se fazer, recepção com pessoas muito simpáticas, e competentes. Adorei a piscina, e os locais em lagos para comer e beber. Aconcelho vivamente a visitarem lagos!

wonderful place 5 minutes from the best beach of Algarve, the swimming pool provides also cosy relax right in front of your room. Many thanks to Miss Teresa at reception who treated us like soons❤

First thing you have to take into consideration: this is not a hotel. They don't have breakfast, they don't have amenities. They offer you a room with kitchen appliances, so you can dispose of them as you wish. You have to go to a supermarket to shop for the things you will need during your stay. If you don't use the appliances, you pay as they were put to your service. Now for our stay. We arrived late around 9:40 pm and the lady told us basic stuff about the city and nothing about any of the services. Also, put us in a terrible room. We don't remember seeing such a waste of space since long time ago. See pictures, please. The bed was hard, smelled bad and we decided to move first thing in the morning. Then Mrs. Teresa happened in the morning. She has quick thinking and works to solve problems in a way that makes everything happens. She promptly moved us to another room. Even if this room was not the best thing in the world, we were happy to see something happening to satisfy the customer. She asked for the room service to arrange things in a hurry and put a layer of foam over the mattress to improve comfort. And we stayed. The bathrooms in both rooms were terrible. There's no way to avoid leaking water to the floor and once you finish your bath the bathroom is flooded. Mrs. Teresa makes everything in her power to set things the best they can be. Yes, the place is old fashioned, needs modernizing the concept of comfort and usability of the space. There is a pool at the back of the complex but we didn't use it. As for the privacy, forget it. Everybody comes and goes around and in front of every door of the rooms. And dressed as they want. Yes, there is parking. In the streets, if you don't get to use one of the five places to park in front of the complex. If it was not enough, at the last night of our stay, as my wife opened the door of the room I was wearing a Speedo and no shirt, the same lady that welcomed us stayed at the door and did not move unless we would go to the balcony and payed for our stay, something that could be done next morning. I was embarassed and so was my wife as we are not used to have our privacy invaded in such a way. Next morning we told to Mrs. Teresa about this incident and she was elegant enough not to tell a word about it. After all, the price. We stayed for ten more days travelling around Algarve. We had so much better hotels and services for less money that we cannot avoid thinking that this complex is too expensive for the service offered. One can certainly have better options for less or for the same price. Despite the people that works there, for the price asked, it is not worth it. Give two stars only because of the people we met there (a word should be written about the ladies that take care of the cleaning: they do their best and do it well).

Myself and my husband and our daughter stayed here for 5 nights. We booked here at the last minute after our initial accommodation didn't work out. Our room was spotlessly clean and plenty big enough for the 3 of us. The kitchenette was fully equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We got a bag of washing done for €6 returned to the room and hung out on the clothes horse by Carol (I think that was her name)! Perfect accommodation if you are looking for somewhere quiet and comfortable close to the beach and not too far from the town.

Very nice and calm place, clean and comfortable, every day cleaning, nice swimming pool... close to beach Poro de Mos - walking distance. Staff is very helpfull in case of need, best of all is sillence and calm in the morning and comfy beds.

O hotel informa q tem estacionamento grátis mas são apenas 6 vagas. Os outros carros ficam na rua mas o local e bem tranquilo.

Pool was good. Layout was odd...we had to work our way past 3 other flats to get to our entrance passing by other guests outside tables, laundry etc...

Accueil au top par la réceptionniste parlant français !! Pleins de conseils !! Literie moyenne mais cadre vraiment sympa !!
