Hotel Dominicana Plus Bavaro

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel the price was very good and I'm planning to go back on February

it was my worst stay , first of all i paid in an month of advance and when i arrived at the hotel was over booked, i paid for 2 rooms and only got 1, they said that the 2nd party overbooked rooms, when i got to the room, the refrigerator was not working, and in the bathroom was no soap to get a shower, it was the worst experience and the hotel really sucked!!

Couldn't even stay there. They said I had no reservation, despite the fact I made it by this page

Oversold and my room couldn't be found. They stated it was Expedia's fault and Expedia asked us to ask the hotel. The guy in reservations said "Find yourself another place to stay"

The hotel was nice but you get what you pay for. This is not a resort so don't expect any more than just a hotel. The staff was very nice but I felt like I was being ripped on food and transportation. If you want a comfortable experience go to a restort and if you just want a place to sleep, this is the place.

We spent several hours driving around Bavaro looking for the hotel. No street name sign anywhere in the entire city. We called the reception desk and they could not give us directions over the phone. Why, I don't know! We had to pay a motoconcho driver to take us to the hotel and when asked no one in town could tell us how to get to the Primaveral Hotel. I reserved the room at the advertised rate and when booked it jumped $10 US per night. I was supposed to be able to pay in dollars and when we arrived they would only take Dominican Pesos. The room was suppose to have a king sized bed and have a outdoor patio but the bed was a queen and no outside patio. Parking was a problem because they had a tiny parking lot but the main lot for some reason was closed during the day and only available at night. The room was never cleaned during our entire 4 night stay.

Bad. My family member said she did not expect much, but her story amazed me. Orbitz had an issue about the reservation, the manager was yelling mad that he did not care in order to make her pay the second time. Terrible experience. No room service - she had to ask for a clean towel. I saw the pictures of the pool - the water was really dirty. The shuttle bus went out of order soon. The location is inconvenient, by construction sites and a very busy highway. People had to jump over the fencing to get to the other side of the road. So if no bus - no beach.

Air conditioning was poor, toiletries were not replenished during my stay. My room was not cleaned daily, including the replacing of dirty towels with clean fresh towels. Some lights didnt work. Safe lock box didnt work. Pool was not cleaned.

I booked this room via Expedia. It was really affordable. The hotel was cute and had a definite "DR" feel to it. The front desk person was extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was nice and clean, with the exception of the bathtub which needed a cleaning. Other than that my only complaint would be there was only one chair on the patio. Aside from that, everything was great. The pool was nice and clean, and the breakfast was good. I' definitely go back next time I'm in Punta Cana!
