Quest on Eden

Very handy to spark arena to see a show. Car park really suits a small car (which we have)

Really helpful staff, but the rooms need a bit of maintenance. I am still waiting for my room bond to be returned to my bank after 10 days??

The location was quite hilly and steep. Would probably appeal to younger fit people but as I am also young in my 60s it was quite hard walking. What did appeal to me was the fair price we paid for accommodation.

1 night stay - excellent for what we needed!

First off we have stayed here a few times in the past and it has always been good. Super affordable last minute accommodation and the beds are comfy and clean. Location is amazing. The room was cute but the bathroom was smelly and the carpet in the bedroom area had a damp odour. We had to open the sliding door upon entry to help clear the air in the room. When I checked out, I was told our $200 deposit could take between 8-10 days to clear by the bank which was a surprise to us. I was told that this information was on the form I had signed when I checked in. As it was a late last minute stay in Auckland we didn’t even think to read any fine print on the checking in form. I was just instructed to “put my email address at the top and sign at the bottom”. Lesson learnt. Transparency at check in would be really helpful. On return to our room later that night we were met by the police at the main door who were escorting a young man outside that they had just arrested while another officer was consoling a very upset woman in the foyer. Can’t say we will ever stay at Quest on Eden again :(

Enjoyed our single night stay.

The recepionist on check in was extremely cordial and recognised me despite a 4 year absence. The room was good except the tv is a total joke. You cannot operate anything as it requires emails and passwords ? There was no instruction manual or office staff at night to ask.
