Albanuova Hotel

Good location. Enjoyed the balcony watching the people go by. Front desk host spoke English and was extremely helpful and friendly. Gave us a map of area and sites to see.

Furniture was old and bed was short.

Refer to my previous review as we had the same experience - we decided to go back to Reggio Calabria and wanted to stay here based on our previous stay which was fantastic!

Everything was great!

This hotel is in a perfect location - it is close to everything. It is two streets from the main drag (Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi) with shops, cafes and restaurants, Duomo di Reggio Calabria, Museo Nazionale della Magna Grecia (a must to see the Bronzi of Riace) and many other things. It is close to Lungo Mare, Gelateria Cesare (hands down the best gelato you will ever have) and there is a supermarket 2 minutes walk from the hotel, amongst other things. We arrived in Reggio by train and it is a 4 minute walk from Reggio Calabria Centrale station to the hotel. The staff here went well and truly over and above to make our stay pleasant. In particular Domenico and Manuela made us feel welcome and assisted us with any questions we had, provided recommendations where to go, eat and where to purchase particular items as well as car hire. The staff speak English is well so you will have no problems if you don’t speak Italian. The hotel was clean and comfortable and is good value for money. We hired a car and there is free parking on the street which is a big bonus. We will be returning shortly to Reggio Calabria and we will be staying here.

Shower needs updating and water spilling all over after taking one shower. Toilet paper was loose and need to be properly fixed

Near to train station. Large room large bathroom. Very quiet air conditioning and fridge. Manuela in the reception was very nice and helpful

The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. The location was good for reaching places. The staff at reception were all very friendly and very helpful with answering all our questions and they made us feel very welcomed.

The position of the aircon in the room wasn’t directed into the main area as a wardrobe stopped the flow going to where it was needed so it was very hot. We had to leave aircon running pretty much the whole time to cool room down.
